Right now it's a confusing time because you can't make a conclusion at this situation of the crypto market. We were in a good hype and trend that bitcoin halving is coming and the crypto market was pumping well. But right now, it's a hard time and crypto market seems stuck! Last year Tezos did wonderful developments, that's why they are now in top zone, the popularity, volume everything increased for the XTX coin, if the crypto market gets better, then we can expect a huge boost up in XTZ, and I have strong faith on it. If coronavirus ends in the next month, then we can expect a strong market in May, otherwise, I can't predict the future if corona stays a long time!

Although, Tezos had a successful ICO, licensed by MIT, was also backed by an influencer person (Tim Draper) etc  but all thiswon'tt make Tezos bullish, as the above user said about this current time to be a confusing time which i think we both understand the impact of the current pandemic which affected all market globally and it hard to decide if this year will be a good year for bitcoin to surge during the halving not to mention altcoin.

With that been said, there's hope for every crypto in the market if it had a good concept, utility etc.

What matters now is what everyone decide to do with the coins with him/her. Hodl or sell of. It is possible that this year has already been predestined for Tezos to keep soaring. Imagine a project that has almost been written of, all of a sudden came from nowhere and today it is somewhere. Not just in any place, but in the top ten. Sincerely, it's amazing. I was surprised when i saw it.
That now made me continue to remember so many other dead projects, that never saw the exchange. There is still hope for them.

If we will be based on technical analysis and see it on chart. Tezoz is quite good for now, sitting in horizontal support of year 2019.
But in this area, we are also tight position, because it could probably dump down to the support and probably dump all the way.
But for me, it's still far since bitcoin dominance these days it's not that kind of volatile.

Tezos has grown strongly in 2019, and it has become one of the most successful altcoins. 2020 will be a bad year for the cryptocurrency market, I predict Tezos will collapse but it is still one of the leading altcoins. If you want to invest in the long term and it is certainly a great choice

We can't tell if this is the year for Tezos as basically altcoins can't pump without bitcoin achieving its success this year, and I'm not seeing that on bitcoin yet.

Judging by the previous situation of this project i can say it does seems to have good future but if we ignore the reputsble level of the coin creator and the influencer support aspect i dont think Tezos is different to other altcoins we have in the market for they are all highly manipulated and rely on bitcoin market trends.
Speaking of development, tezo had one of the most best development but development dont matter most if a project dont have what it take in terms of concept which will make crypto community for in love with it.

Nothing is certain when in talks of future or things to happen ahead.We have seen for how many times on how bullish the sentiment it would be it doesnt guarantee that it would shoot up its price.
We've been on a bear market for too long and of course we do have that recovery phase and now when that pandemic covid do happen then the market dropped once again.
We do see those reds but now we are gradually recovering but not that too high.For Tezos and other coins that do have some good updates,im not still into it as long this situation
isnt over yet and same as you said on where we cant expect a good market if this situation isnt over yet.

2020 is a year that a lot of uncertainty has developed and the market both stock, commodities and forex including cryptocurrencies are generally down. I do not think that Tezos is from another world and therefore it is not going to perform different. People have to survive first before thinking of making profits or investments. We need to kill the pandemic first before any coins or Tezos grow.

Recently binance crypto exchange announced that it added Tezos coins to it's listing, and I did few research and it shows like investing in tezos will be worth and profitable. Also this coin is a long-term asset you cannot expect a good return in quick time, Tezos has a bright future guys think and invest accordingly have patience after investment.

Tezos staking reward is damn high, this is why I left Energi and buying XTZ coin! This coin was a gem for a long time and now it becomes the top ten coins in the crypto market! The trading volume is very good comparing the recent condition of crypto! So, if the good time like 2017 comes, then 8-10$ is confirmed for XTZ coin. So, holding Tezos or staking both will be a very good decision!

You might be right cause no altcoin will take the crown from bitcoin but cryptocurrency market is tremendous enough to acknowledge every reasonably organized crypto project with good concepts and with the advantage. Although, Tezos offers dApps and smart contracts platform and no project that offer such platform will ever leave the shadow of ETH but Tezos also follow the price of bitcoin market.

If there will be a chance to see bitcoin being replaced by an altcoin, I think we're very far away to see that moment. But I do believe that it's highly unlikely that it will happen.

People are learning the crypto fundamentals and basics and they're all leaning towards the movement and development of bitcoin. These alts will come along with bitcoin but it's unlikely to see them become independent.
