Hello everyone,

I just want to share my crypto journey is this community. I have been here for more than 3 years now, and I just recently promoted from Senior to Hero. Yes, it took me that long as compare to others who have rank up very quickly. But as the saying goes "it's the journey not the destination".

This is what started my journey in this forum: How to Recover Lost Bitcoin.

But another incident in December 2019 made me find my niche here and earned enough merits to rank up. I have a friend who I approached way back but very reluctant to invest on BTC. But that change in 2019 when he finally decided to invest $300 worth on BTC and help him set up everything. So everyday when we had a chance to talk, we will discuss everything about the price and he will ask questions and I will try to answer it the best way I can with my knowledge. Unfortunately, he said he was lured by someone from Facebook that he supposed know and obviously he was scam and lost everything. (I partly blame myself for that.)

So I said to myself that I will have a personal crusade to exposed those scammers and cyber criminals in which ever I can. That's why I said that I find the niche in this community. These are the threads that I created so far that I have gained merit to rank up to Hero status.

So my only tip for those who wants to rank up, just find your niche, maybe you are really good at technical discussions, finding scammers, writing guides, -- just share it to the community. Believed me many members here are very appreciative, specially if they see that you really put up a lot of effort sharing your knowledge here.

Lastly, thanks to all merit sources out there, and those who gave trust and confidence in me. I won't mentioned any names, I think you guys know who you are!!!

Congratulation my friend, reaching hero member is really hard because based on my experience, even though I am only a full member, it has been so hard for me to reach this level, it requires experience and knowledge, if you don't have even one of that, you may not level up or you may not reach a higher level.

There are so many hackers in this virtual world, they are so expert of doing things like that, they have learned about it for so many years before they became expert on doing that, thanks for warning us, that is really a big help.

Ranking up with the merit system is indeed considered difficult by some people, some even give up and don't try anything. While most other members try to innovate and give higher dedication, improve the quality of posts and contributions so they can get what they want. I salute TS and other members who are committed to making useful threads, one that I know is @masulum, I become motivated. I'm also trying to explore and look for niches that fit my abilities, honestly, sometimes I feel insecure because I'm not a lot of experience, but I will try good advice, and congratulations on your success.

I also recently ranked up from Jr. Member to Member which wasn't in my mind that i could do this thing. But it's come true. Your's Guide about fake crypto youtube videos really help the community most because many newbies were scammed by that. Hope , our community will get more content from you.

This is very true and these words really give the summary of all. This is an on going journey where there is no destination as there is always a room for becoming more better. Even if you will become legendary one day, you will still try to go beyond and gain more and more Positive trusts and good feedbacks.

Just a minor observation: positive Trust should, in principle, be related to commercial activity here. Being that so, many Trust related scores and ratings should not really be on our profiles (for example, the small amount of positive Trust I have on my profile is not related to commerce, and in principal should probably neutral in any case). There should probably be a dual Trust feature (for commerce and non-commerce related interactions), which would, if used properly, reflect a better outcome on a given profile.
