As most of you learned members of this forums are already aware about the current situation of world economy. Situation is same if not worst in my country INDIA.
I wish for the good health of you and your family members, stay safe.
The reason I am posting this thread is to seek help from the knowledgeable members of this forum. I wonder if  you can suggest any emerging field with a great potential in near future for me to cope with the situation. I am in lock down (as most of you) for almost one week and this will continue for at least 2-4 weeks more,
1. I am looking for any good investment opportunity (that you might suggest),
for near 15000$.
2. Any new skill which you think I should acquire. ( I am a sociology post grad)

 I am doing OK with trading and poker for last 1-2 years (making average 40$ per day) but my income is declining simply because I have stopped putting needed efforts. I have become bored with poker specially and I don't think I can do better in these field.
Hereby I seek the knowledgeable advise from you guys. may be you can help me out in shaping my future.

... but other than that, if you are in India then you can probably undercut most Western workers on remote-working freelance sites. Have a look through the list of 60 sites here; these may give you some great opportunities. At the very least they'll show you what is out there and what skills are in demand.

I really appreciate your sincere efforts, this is really some useful information. I  already knew about some of the platforms which you mentioned but some are quite new and interesting.

If you are good in trading then why not start a Youtube channel about trading strategies and tips. There is a huge demand related to trading videos on YouTube and the income is also quite good after your reach a certain subs level.

Its very hard to start doing trading analysis,  I feel like there's so many competitors now in that same space. Unless the OP is really very good, and from there he can build his videos to and make it SEO optimized

Poker is not a source of income as it can burn you with a loss at any time. Given that you are a sociology major and not a major in finance I wouldn't rely on trading to keep you afloat in the long term.

I'm in the same boat as you, and in my opinion mastering a completely new skill will take too long if you just need the cash, I would suggest offering your services of blogging about sociology in the services section so you can at least get some money in bitcoin.
