In this case I'd say cigarettes are less nocive. Being a drug, weed is worst, damaging your brain cells. Cigarettes are bad as well, damaging your lungs, but I think they harm you less compared with weed. Cigarettes are a social drug (similar to alcohool), an accepted one, while weed is entirelly considered a drug, and it is accepted only in a few parts of the world.

Anyone saying opposite is full of conspiracy and living in an government's made up world of what is safe and what is not. It's always higher of an risk from cigarette/tabcoo companies as they add addictive chemicals to increase addiction on the other hand weed is totally organic in nature. Universally, natural substances are more elite and preferred rather than synthetic onces which always makes weed better than cigarettes..

You are right about why people eat it I don't like either I think both are harmful to our health. Currently playing with them due to the coronavirus the virus will be more likely to be infected. Statistics show that more viruses are infected with smokers.

Its true that weed has some medical benefits but intaking them continuously can even alter nature of bahaviour and other issues so no need to use anything if you want to get dopamine.Get them in real by living a real happy life.
