Fake news are always existing in different world especially when something happens in our world, there are so many fake news that we may read through the use of social media.

So I will list down all that you may do to identify if it is fake news.

1. Do not believe so easily in the headlines - Make sure that you should read all the information in the articles because there are some headlines that is considered as clickbait or those that can hook up your attention.

2. Identify the source - Search for the website and search if it is came from the trusted website or media because there are websites that may copy others information and add some information on it.

3. Find other reports - Do not stick for only one report, for sure if it is real source there are other reports that you may find.

4. Check the author of the article - Most of the articles have its author at the bottom part and if the author is so famous or trusted person, then it can be a real article.

5. Always check the date - Always check the date, some people are being fooled because of not checking the date of the article.

Do not spread fake news, there is no good thing that we may have in fake news. Spreading it wont help the problem.

Well guided to identify fake news.
Nowadays ethics is a small price to pay for fulfilling ones  personal interests.
Ownership patterns, conflict of interest,  are some motivations that generate unethical behaviour in social media users . Even journlists are responsible for spreading fake news .They are also sometime biased.
One should always crosscheck the news which they are confronting daily. Otherwise they will also get influenced by fake news and act biased.

Indeed, there are so many times that ethics can be bought by money, so they change the story just to cover the fault of the person, well that will be only applicable for the lawyers, which is meant for lying and covering the fault of the person, but if we talk about the news report in national tv, fake news won't exist, this is a real trusted associations.

Reasonable advice. Now there is a lot of fake news everywhere, so these tips can come in handy for many people to distinguish a fake from a good article.

I don’t know why, but in our country, the placement of fakes is quite common. This is especially noticeable in whatsapp chats. It is sad that many people believe them, although knowing such rules could help them greatly.

I check if the source is reliable but if it's not, I try to search for some other news and if some website has it too.

I'll decide whether to believe the news or not.

So true. But then for you to not get a victim of fake news, the best thing to do is to just refer to the television news page over different social media, for example, the legit page of CNN.

It makes no sense to watch or read the news. You will learn important news from friends. And news is not news in the sense in which we understand them. Today's news is brainwashing. This is the imposition of thoughts that are beneficial to the backstage forces, this is the oppression of the people, this is the control of the masses of people. Try to live your knowledge and you will understand that this news does not affect you personally. And watching and reading the news gives you only anxiety and depression.

Fake news are always existing in different world especially when something happens in our world, there are so many fake news that we may read through the use of social media.

So I will list down all that you may do to identify if it is fake news.

5. Always check the date - Always check the date, some people are being fooled because of not checking the date of the article.

Do not spread fake news, there is no good thing that we may have in fake news. Spreading it wont help the problem.

If you are already suspecting the headline as too good to be true and too much fake to your eyes and ears, then do not just rely on the headline itself, but rather read the entire article and see from there. A lot of people make judgement just by the headline itself, which is really bad!

Who is smart enough to take a report and break it down into what is really being said... like the points?

Once you have the points pulled out of the report, then you have enough info to see whether the report might be accurate. But you have to be able to think, from the standpoint of experience.

For example, back in the beginning of March, it was reported that the tests for Covid-19 were not working well enough to detect that the disease could be accurately determined to exist in a patient. Then it was reported that the tests for Covid-19 produced similar results to tests for other viruses in the Coronavirus family. Then it was reported that to accurately determine Covid-19, the tests had to be examined in a very thorough, microscopic-like way... for every patient.

The question is, do they have tests that can accurately tell if it is Covid-19 or something else, after all this time? Maybe they still don't know in 99% of the patients if it is Covid-19 or some sister virus. The news doesn't go this deep in their reports. The doctors don't talk about why they know that it is Covid-19 and not some sister virus. They simply say it is Covid-19, and expect us to believe them.

If they are right or if they are wrong, sounds a whole lot like fake news to me.

I guess the most important key to identify "fake news" is to check the source? Where are the information coming from? Are they reliable? Are the information based on facts? Can these facts be verified? Just because you don't like the news, they don't need to be fake. That's a common mistake the current president of the United States often does.

Of course, the President might simply be showing you that most news is fake news. How? By switching his directions so often. If it's fake news for a guy who gets info from the CIA and all over, it certainly has to be fake news for little people like us.

Coronavirus is fake news.

Exactly.
The problem is not just fake news. Many are really bias (which are very obvious) and shameless about it.. I think this creates alot of problems for societies and the world in general.
But I  think decentralized journalism will solve a lot of the problems: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5239330.msg54191426#msg54191426

I think they should very independent, thorough, ethical, honest, unbais, accountable, safe and properly paid

The topic of fake news is as old as the news industry itself—misinformation, hoaxes, propaganda, and satire have long been in existence. This guide will help you determine the kinds of fake news that exist and provide tools for how to evaluate news for its reliability and truth. While fake news can take many forms, there are several broad types.A news headline may read one way or state something as fact, but then the body of the article says something different. The Internet term for this type of misleading fake news is headlines that catch a reader’s attention to make them click on the fake news. This type of fake news is misleading at best and untrue at worst.
The last few years have been newsworthy, to say the least. An unprecedented American election, Brexit, earthquakes, and outbreaks all contributed to some of the most compelling news in recent memory.
Do you notice splling erors [sic], lots of ALL CAPS, or dramatic punctuation! If so, abort your reading mission. Reputable sources have high proofreading and grammatical standards.
Is the story current or recycled? Make sure an older story isn’t being taken out of context.
