Covid-19 is basically the common cold.
The common cold is actually caused by a corona virus and most people get it 2-3 times a year.
If it had a 1% mortality rating like Covid19, and everyone got it twice a year, over 150 million people would die each year.
For reference, there are about 140 million children born each year.
If everyone who died with at least one common cold virus in their body were labeled as a 'coronavirus death' then the death rate from the common cold would be much higher and would approach the figures in your rather poorly designed mathematical function.
The CDC has, for the purposes of propagandizing the flu vaccine, pumped up the danger of influenza by estimating that 1/2 of people who died had had the inflenza virus and were thus a 'flu related death.' Ergo, if 10M people died than 5M died from the flu. So "Be afraid. Be very afraid."
Now we have a new kid on the block in SARS-cov-2. In order to shunt the fear off that this one they are going to have to draw down the 'flu deaths.' I'll be interested to watch as the numbers shift from the 'flu bucket' to the 'covid-19 bucket'. I wonder if they will try double-counting. And if so, I wonder if people will buy it. My guess is that they will.
