You said researching does matter? And what if he already conduct his own research from a reliable source? There is nothing wrong with that but what is wrong is to fully rely on our instincts because doing so is like playing a gambling. You can get it correct and sometimes not. We shouldn't invest based on what others think like for example if the op bought those coins, we think it will also a good idea to follow it, no that's wrong.

This was the same as following the influencers which are also being boycotted by the many though a coin with a stable value is better than the coins whose value is mostly crashing and not recovering anymore. Bat token is one of the popular tokens up to this date so maybe this has still a chance to recover but I don't know about gnt. Never hear such a coin before.

researching and instinct combined for me is much better than just listening to those what we read in forum or outside though I don't say it is bad but we must keep tracking what is best for our money as no one can take the blame if we fail.

I think it will better to not invest all in Btc because buying one coin is not good at all. i will recommend to buy 40% Btc and hold it for long term, another 40% use for buying major altcoins Bnb, Eth, Matic, Xrp and another 20% for risky coins which has possibility of high Profit in bull run. These risky coins can include Web3 and Metaverse coins and Doge should also be added in this portion because anytime Elon can push it to high level.

Buying coins is only profitable if buying entry is good. suppose one person taken entry in btc when it was above 50k then his portfolio will be half despite of investing in safe coin because his buying entry was wrong. we should always buy in dip and bear market if we want to make double profit.
