Going by your list, i read cryptocurrency news on this forum and cointelegraph. Cointelegraph ranks among the top news outlets that provides trusted news related to blockchain and cryptocurrency. I do enter enter coindesk sometimes too but i do follow icodrop channel on telegram for fast and swift stories
Coin telegraph is one of the leading platforms in the internet that giving us information about cryptocurrencies, I also using it but I rely more in forum because it is the core of whole information of the cryptocurrency market. All of the information are in here and that is why I allocate my time in reading more information for me to gain more knowledge and also trading skills.

My number one source is this forum and the others if I find some articles that need to clarify, I go to some trusted source like coindesk or so. There is also a lot of variety to choose on some of my threads and also you can find some source there to watch movies, documentaries and youtube channels that tackle bitcoins and any other cryptocurrencies.

List:

Bitcoin Statistics
Bitcoin News and Bitcoin Price Chart Sites

Hi all,

Just out of curiosity... Where do you read about crypto?
What is/are your favorite source(s)?

My favorite sources are:
- This forum
- CoinDesk
- CoinTelegraph
- NewsBTC
- Twitter
- Reddit

Yours?
Never rely on Twitter and social media platforms to give you idea about crypto news because majority of them are just Liar or misleading.

I depend on this forum most of the times for crypto news. Other than this, I am active in one social media group where people where all crypto related news. I follow that group regularly for crypto news. I think reddit and this forum is the best source for getting news faster.
yeah this is indeed since in this forum we can find everything regarding crypto, there are fud and also Good news so why need to look for specific sites when in our own Market here we can find the answers.

Reddit and crypto social media has just been really trashy for a while already and they're being more and more a waste of time(but of course we get good articles once in a while).

Personally, I just created a curated list of well-picked people on Twitter that are mostly just technical updates(and constructive discussions concerning Bitcoin) and NOT just bashing around and trashtalking people on Twitter, having nonsensical arguments. People on my Twitter list include Pieter Wuille, Lightning Labs, Nic Carter, Jack Mallers, Adam Back(and Blockstream, but definitely not Samson Mow), and a few others. Too much unnecessary drama on the other "influencers".

In total, I find this a good thing. Because of my social media usage dropping significantly, I now have more time for books! Definitely A LOT more productive.

Plus I noticed many of the newbies haven't read, or tried to understand, the basic developer documentation, https://bitcoin.org/en/developer-documentation

You don't have to be a developer to know how Bitcoin works on a basic level. The documentation is written well, and simple enough to read.

I also recommend, https://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/

CoinDesk and Cointelegraph are my go-to sources for everything crypto-related currently. Official twitter accounts of a few crypto enthusiasts would also be a good source, including Buterin, Antonopoulos, among others. There are also some small news outlets lately that have caught my attention due to them reporting some news that aren't covered by the larger firms, though I wouldn't really take them as true not unless I have cross-referenced their content to other news sources out there.

~snip~
Just out of curiosity... Where do you read about crypto?
What is/are your favorite source(s)?
When I was here in the forum and it was introduced my classmate in college. On this forum, it was sharpened my mind on how crypto and blockchain technology will work together. And in the next few months, I saw that also Bitcoin ads in my Facebook account.
You forgot adding Facebook social media, this is very common here in our place than twitter or Reddit.
I used my Bitcointalk and Facebook account to find information about crypto but sometimes I don't trust Facebook there are a lot of scammers there.

Fortunately there is a lot of sources where you can learn cryptocurrency. When I first started to learn crypto, I prefer videos so what I did was I visited Youtube and found some amazing tutorials or teaching using some data, animation and more. By then Youtube became my favorite source to learn and understand crypto from basics to deep learning. Until now Youtube is one of the biggest and popular app where you can watch and learn a lot of things so I would definitely recommend this one. Also, if you are not into videos, you can check out links listed below for more sources about cryptocurrency:

Bitcointalk.org
https://www.entrepreneur.com/topic/cryptocurrency
https://www.coinbase.com/learn
https://www.nerdwallet.com/blog/investing/cryptocurrency-7-things-to-know/

All of these sites and articles helped me a lot too. Especially the Bitcointalk where I learned different opinions of people about crypto and other topics. Make sure if you are new to this market research more, try to understand and listen to others' opinion so you'll come up with your own strategies for good investment.

i use to believe in Social media news but not until now when there are tons of Shits happening on those sites and nothing reliable given in our time now that's why i only use Bitcointalk for latest News because in our forum here we can find News good or bad in that case we can analyze whom is telling the truth.
Sometimes I look at Forbes, but mostly I don't really read articles unless it is really an important crypto news.
Facebook just became like too wide to read some crypto-related news at, and I think people would be deceived there by some fake-toshi, and fake projects could also dwell there.
try to visit Wall Observer thread most of the time for latest updates and analyzation of the prices.

Actually I am gathering some legitimate news about cryptocurrency on cointelegraph and also to coindesk in which it is very much updated whenever they are a new news about cryptocurrency the coindesk and the cointelegraph will have eventually the news more briefer in which they can explain the news very well and full of information.

I'm kinda boring like that too actually. I mean, occasionally, because of the work I do for others, I get to hear about some of the news that goes on but they're ultimately unimportant to me as a mainly Bitcoin user.

If it's important, it ends up getting discussed here. If it's really critical, it even goes up in the News section of the forum.

Every now and then I come across something I didn't hear about when it first surfaced, but I can afford to read news like ex-porn-star-turns-Forbes30-under-30-CelsiusNetworkHeadofLending.

I get all the information about crypto from this forum, but for other options I usually visit Coindesk for some news about cryptocurrency and blockchain.

Apart from the website there are also several information groups about crypto such as the telegram group that I follow.

But trusted news sources must be chosen so as not to get caught up in FUD news that was deliberately created.
Usually I find FUD on Twitter and telegram groups with lots of junk posts and more.

Sources of news and information about crypto and blockchain can be found anywhere, the most important is the information provided is completely valid and not engineered.

Personally i don't comfortable to use reddit and about other social media is not too much trust worthy to me. From the beginning i love to hear about crypto from this forum. I know if i try to know about crypto i will find my answer in google, YouTube or from other media but i always try to discuss here cause it's easy to know about something from very experienced people whom are using this forum. Beside this forum i saw some random news from google news also (it's seems finishing the top headline until finish my coffee Cheesy).

It's rather unfortunate OP did not include Bitcointalk forum in the list because this forum has been my greatest source of crypto related information although Twitter does some work sometimes.

I do like the popular ones such as Cointelegraph, coindesk, coinsutra but I just came across this platform CryptoAdventure and i love how they keep things simple over there. They have a beginners section where they have reviewed most of the popular coins on CMC and i would suggest this all to the crypto noobs. Most of the well-known content platforms sometimes get too technical but with CryptoAdventure they try to keep things as basic and simple for the layman in this industry. Visit the link below to have access to their website

I always read news in Cointelegraph, Newsbtc and BTT forum. I am much comfortable with those sites I have been mentioned and been using them for fundamental analysis, too. From the start until now, this forum gives me different kind of news from different websites though. Thus keeping me more updated. But I always had notifications on Cointelegraph and Newsbtc.

Not always visiting reddit and twitter though.

it looks like Cointelegraph and Newsbtc are indeed the best places to bring news about the latest crypto. Well, I also read there. besides that, at Cointelegraph, I always look at the predictions and analysis of prices that they do, and that is quite helpful for me.
