The nodes running through Tor does not have IP address which is used in the scanner of the network peers. So unfortunately Tor nodes do not appear in BGL explorer stats or node contest.

I think it depends on what you need/want.

If you want to participate in the node contest, you should be running it without any proxy. On another hand, if you have privacy concerns and/or want to help the network, it is really advisable to run the node over Tor. Although, do note that to run the BGL Core onion service you need additional configuration on your Tor conf.

I try to browse the tutorial on nicehash and I saw that you need to undergo a KYC verification before you can buy a miner that's I got discourage to continue on purchasing miner. I know that mining using GPU is tough due to competitors advance mining rig, I just want to experience then upgrade when I'm happy on the result.

You are trying to use the BGL-WBGL bridge site right? I checked it and the WBGL balance on the BSC network is empty. The site is managed by the team so it might be they just haven't yet refilled it.
