Good Day Everyone

I just have a lot of time in sharing these books that I collect personally from the internet for further readings when I find some leisure time and I think it would be very beneficial for anyone if they will use their time in reading and educating themselves about the different aspect or nature of cryptocurrency, the technology behind it and its philosophies etc.

Honestly I am having a hard time to actually post this because I am hesitant if posting a direct download link of these educational resources is allowed in this commmmunity so I to had create a thread in Meta to make sure if it is possible to share these book in my arsenal where I also downloaded it for free. Fortunately it is allowed so I think it would be very nice idea if I'll be sharing these books also for free.  Smiley

Many of those books are free for download on github or other more trusted sources, like mastering bitcoin can be downloaded from github.

Isn't google drive unsafe for download? We don't know exactly what may be in those files.

I am also aware that some of them are available to download in github community which is more trusted. I just include all the ebook I have stored in my gdrive. Thank you for clarifying  Smiley

Good Day bitmover

I actually use my personal google drive in storing these pdf and I don't know where I can store these files and this is the only way I have I know to access these files.

You seem to have missed out a great book which I recently came across : Programming Bitcoin by Jimmy Song

When Andreas released the second version of Mastering Bitcoin back in 2017 I wasn't really aware of the technology. But recently at the end of 2018(not sure still) I was introduced to a book Mastering Bitcoin through forum and stack exchange answers where people were raving about the book and the content present in them. I just bought a copy straight away and completed reading them somehow at the mid of 2019 and was completely blown off by the technology which is governing the Blockchain and bitcoin in general.

Once I got to have a basic grasp on the tech behind, I slowly shifted towards the historic side of the coin creation and this is probably where I was introduced to another great book Digital Gold by Nathaniel Popper. Well to be quite true, you might get a sleep at times while reading through as it tests the patience of the readers but they do provide a great insight on the early days of bitcoin and most importantly about the connectivity between Hal and Satoshi.

Programming Bitcoin is more or less related to development process and contribution and learning about core from a programming perspective written by Bitcoin Dev Jimmy Song. I still have never bought the book, but they do offer great exercise to be practiced while we are learning about wallet development and core contribution. It's still a steep learning curve for me since the book is related completely towards Python programming which I am have never learned still.  Sad

Apart from these, Internet of Money Vol 1,2,3 are literally needed if you are going to introduce someone into the bitcoin space. If you have read the talks of Andreas you might easily change the mind of a fiat money supported and certainly make them start using bitcoin.  Grin

I think most cloud hosting can host malicious files too. Not exclusive to Google Drive. You can run an online virus check first anyway. IIRC Google Drive also has a built-in virus checker as long as the file size isn't that huge (but take it with a grain of salt).

I wonder if OP read those uploaded books already? But these are kinda helpful guides and interesting stuff. Thanks for sharing these files. They say the best way to increase your knowledge is through reading well I agreed. If newbies can read everysingle one of it. A lot of questions about bitcoin and some related blockchain methodology would have been answered already. I will download some.

By the way for all those who read already from any of these. Would like to ask which one do you think are good ones to priority? Big thanks to OP.

I don't think new generations are interested to read paper-based books. So, e-book is a nice job by OP to offer newbies useful resources to learn about cryptocurrency.
For senior members just work on crypto project for learning new and emerging technology which might interest to bitcoiners.
I don't learn from book but from my experience. Hope for a bright future for crypto adoption to public.

Thanks, OP for the Nice set of Useful Resources!!

You have shared it at the right time. Now most of us are getting time due to lock-down. We can utilize this time to read about Cryptocurrencies, Blockchain, etc. I have Mastering Bitcoins and the Internet of Money e-book, I will download and read other books as well.

Thank you for a very fantastic review behind these books.

I have read the Internet of Money Vol 1 which I think is a very good start for people who are alien to the new technology. Andreas Autonopolous clearly explained the philosophical, social, and historical implications of the technology which gives me an idea of 'why' bitcoin is taking an impact globally. It clearly explained how bitcoin is disrupting an old era of making transaction.

Furthermore, I still haven't read most of the books here but I am starting to at least read one during the lockdown in order for me to be productive. I appreciate your review @Heisenberg_Hunter, i'll take note of that.

For people who are still new into the community, the Internet of Money is a collection of Andreas Antonopolous talks in his events, actually a transcipts of his teachings in crypto-space.

I wonder if OP read those uploaded books already?

Unfortunately, I only read few of those books due to the time constraint given by the academic obligations and I just downloaded it whenever I encountered free eBooks in the internet it was just being dumped in my Google Drive.

Would like to ask which one do you think are good ones to priority? Big thanks to OP.

I highly suggest that reading The Internet of Money first because it is packed with philosophical explanation why bitcoin is disrupting the traditional financial system and this can be a very good start for people who are not yet inclined in programming.

Although there were a lot of books relating to bitcoin already but I still would like to recommend Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency Technologies by Arvind Narayanan, Joseph Bonneau, Edward Felten, Andrew Miller and Steven Goldfeder (Princeton Uiversity). As far as I can tell, this is one the most comprehensive academic textbook on bitcoin and blockchain, along with some Andreas Autonopolous' masterpieces.

Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency Technologies provides clear and well-structured explanations on all technical matters, especially in first 5 chapters. The rest of the book is less techinique-biased but interesting and useful. The only downside is that some content/information was a bit out dated because of the publish year was in 2015.

Regarding finance book, it's a regret not to mention The Richest Man in Babylon by George S. Clason. Similar to Rich Dad Poor Dad, it's old but gold. Principles mentioned in the book are quite simple but you'll find it not easy to make them habits. The sooner you practice those principles, the sooner you get reward. This book is excellent for young people.

Good group. I have read most of them. It is good for anyone who wants to learn more about economics, money, and cryptocurrencies.
I am more interested in audiobooks, where I can hear them while driving when drinking coffee or anywhere, do you have any compilation of audiobooks? Or do you know a reliable source for it?

I do not know the rest of the people, but I prefer audio and video. I hope you will refer to some channels on YouTube as well.

Can anyone share links to two books: Mastering Bitcoin; Mastering Ethereum, on github, please.

I have a hardcover of the first book but don't have github link. For the second book, I neither have hardcover nor github link. So please help if you know. It is more convenience to have github links because I can read on any devices when I have spare time for learning.

In case if some one is interested in learning about day trading and its strategies while under lockdown then you could go ahead and read the following books. I personally have read the first two listed here and trust me they are very helpful.

1. Advanced Techniques in Day Trading
2. Day Trading: The Ultimate Guide
3. How to Day Trade for a living
4. How to Make Money in Intraday Trading
5. Start Day Trading Now

You can check the whole list here

Audiobooks are quite different from ebooks. It takes a lot more time and effort to produce an audio file and hence, most of audio books exist under fee-paying forms. So far, Audible, Audiobooks and Scribd are some of the most complete and qualified providers for this kind.

Amazing books for this isolation period. i have gathered enough of these ebooks for reading. to success in business, one has to understand and read about the business he is about to venture into. Not just by assumption like must of us do here. this includes trading investing and promoting.

I hate to be that guy but as a word of caution: some of those books aren't actually free and I'm guessing that their unauthorized distribution could potentially land you in trouble (luckily for you, book publishers don't really tend to go after infringers). As for Bitcointalk and Google Drive, they are both shielded through DMCA's "Safe Harbor" provision which means they are not liable as long as they comply with takedown requests by copyright holders. Hope everyone learned a bit more about copyright law Smiley

Thank you for given links despite they are not exactly what I asked for help. However, it seems those links are not come from Andreas Annotopolous. Are contents of them as same as books were written by Annotopolous? I remembered I read an online version of his book that has same contents as hardcover version but I don't save that link so I lost it.

Those links are featured on Andreas M. Antonopoulos' github (https://github.com/aantonop). If you're still not convinced, buy the published version (https://aantonop.com/books/) and have a look for yourself. I have read all of them on my Kindle and they're identical.

Wow, it is amazing. Links are legit. Thank you Raytheon. You help me a lot with those replies especially with the link to The Antonopoulos' github and the book on Ethereum. I gave you 2 merits because you deserved it.
