Hello to everyone,
Its been a long time i didnt log in in my account on HITBTC. Beginning of March i started checking all my exchanges again. I had 2FA security in all of them.
After such long time I forgot that I have changed mobile device so I couldn’t get the 2FA anymore. With every exchange they just sent me a secret code on my personal phone number or an email and my account was fine within few minutes. With HITBTC im exchanging emails from 14 March until today without success. After asking me question about trades and dates that its impossible to remember as i havent logged in for 2 years, they asked for my personal documents, selfie, extra picture with selfie showing their email i received that i provided everything, then they asked for specific dates and transactions that i had no idea. Finally they asked me about the date of the account creation that i provided, after that i informed them about 2 specific coins i have inside and they STILL dont give me access to my account and funds. These guys are scammers that i lost almost a month of my time exchanging emails every day with them.
Anybody who has issues with them can contact me so we can file a complaint to authorities through my lawyer. Its time to stop scammers once and for all.
If Anyone from the moderators wants the emails and everything i can provide to him all the information.
Soon I will upload the emails here also so anybody can judge by himself.
Thank you

Hitbtc at it again making the whole process hard so they can hold their users funds and/or make them give up.

Another thing you can do is to continue posting your story to forums and such because the more attention it gets, the higher the chances of being noticed and be taken seriously. There were cases of users getting their money back because hitbtc was trying to save their face.

Definitely disclose your conversation as proofs strengthens your case. Move this thread to scam accusations and follow the format

Isn't it that whenever you activate your 2FA, you will also be sent a back-up code in case you will lost your authenticator? Did you also lost it? Perhaps you might have saved it somewhere. It was enough to make you access your account.

Also, that confirmation email that was sent to you from HitBTC the day you created your account, was it deleted?

I was also asked by HitBTC late last year to undergo KYC. My account was also dormant for some time and they said they detected suspicious activity in my account. They didn't expound on it, though, so I don't know what activity they are talking about. I had no choice and underwent KYC. Everything went well, though.

HitBTC is famous for being selective scammers, or "more correct scammers" so they will not grant you access to your account if it is your fault.
Since you do not have problems with going through KYC, you should try in all ways to regain access to your account, but do not put too much hope because they simply do not care about their reputation.

After verifying your identity they should give you access again so don't despair.
