As a Hero member you should know that "sanctions/penalties" on bitcointalk are the exception and not the rule - especially not for something like that.

By the way - seriously man - the whole "we Turks are being discriminated thing" is getting old - really, if you guys spent your time & energy on something meaningful... instead, all that "pseudo-political" bs...

Side note: I agree politics are "big" here on bitcointalk and there are people profiting in several ways from that - if you dont like the way things are though, make your point in a way that makes sense and if you dont like the feedback, its always your decision to leave and move on.

I don't think that's even the issue here.  The problem as I see it is that it has become so easy these days to garner sympathy by blabbing on about how much you've been persecuted, i.e., how much of a victim you are.  But in this case, what do we have?  One member who thinks the Turkish local board is stupid.  And OP wants Lauda whipped by the mods for expressing an opinion?  

You do realize Theymos thinks more of unfettered speech than you do, right OP?  There's no way in hell Lauda is going to get in trouble over that statement--nor should he/she/it.  If you don't have a thicker skin than this, you probably might want to stick to forums which have nannies as moderators and don't tolerate anything even close to offensive speech.  That isn't how bitcointalk is.  Not since I've been a member here.

Don't  misunderstand me. I detest the scamming, extorting and trust abusing piece of dirt lauda, but this is a bit of a small issue in the context of laudas past crimes.

(I hate racism but I like my nation, as I love all people)
Being a teenager, being a child, being old doesn't change anything here
at least he should respect the forum where he makes money
because even if it's local, the number of users, the number of visitors, the number of posts posted ... these are important factors in creating the value of the forum, so they join bounty and earn money.
