This comes a shocking news Bernie Sanders who is a senator from Vermont has openly declared his presidential dreams cancel
This would strengthen Democrats Joe biden ambition for the Presidential race.

What's your take on Bernie Sanders decision. I feel he stood a chance.

I predicted exactly this outcome, but no Bernie-heads believed me.

Maybe he realized that it is better to retire from politics and enjoy the remaining days of his life without so much complexities going on. He had already his fair share as public servant. Time to take care of his health and more time to his family. I think his decision is a good one. I can consider Biden as old already but maybe he has more stamina to face the challenges of running a President.

It's really disappointing. I used to support him but now all I can see is a coward. He didn't fight to the bitter end. He didn't get even a little aggressive in his primary against Joe. He was the wrong candidate to get behind.

There is some good that will come out of this. The democrats have sealed their fate, Biden is very very unlikely to win. So, people with bigger ideas can get another chance in 2024, rather than potentially 2032+ if the corporate wing of the democratic party won.

I can't believe how somebody who has won by tiny margins before would abandon a race halfway. Especially when so many people gave so much support.
He's dead to me. I was extremely disappointed when he supported Hillary in 2016 but I gave him another chance, I guess people don't change so easily.

I tought the discussion around healthcare brought by the Coronavirus was going to be an assist for him. Trump will win his second term pretty easily.

Trumps is handling the pandemic quite awfully and if situation doesn't get better soon, he will be blamed for not taking it seriously enough. It will be convenient argument against him during the debates. I think Biden and Trump have equal chances.

I feel the same and when I saw how big of a communist he is I was amazed that someone like that can be popular in the US. When a communist becomes the president you'll know the history has come full circle.
