I know that most of the forum members has more knowledge about this topic than me. But I think that there are some real beginners here who don't know how to archive a post. My concern is only for those real beginners.

There are some websites where you can archive your post. Such as
1. https://archive.vn
2. https://archive.st

First one is slow and time consuming. Second one is very easy. Now I want to talk about the second one.

Step 1: You can search this site on google or click the direct link here https://archive.st.

Step2: Then you have to copy the link which you want to archive. Suppose I want archive this page
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=39.0

Step 3: Then you have to paste your link in the website . Complete reCAPTCHA. Then click "Archive" button.

Step 4: Now your link is archived. You can copy your link from "View the image here" or "View the archive here".

And this is the link of your archive page.
https://archive.st/archive/2020/4/bitcointalk.org/boii/bitcointalk.org/index.html

http://archive.ph/ I added you a similar website. I believe you do not need detailed instructions. It is very easy to use, anyone who accesses it can understand how to use it for the first time  Wink

Better to use http://web.archive.org/ or https://archive.is/

I know that most of the forum members has more knowledge about this topic than me. But I think that there are some real beginners here who don't know how to archive a post.

Yeah, it's true there will be some newcomer or newbies don't know how to archiving post, but why you need to make the same post if this guide has been discussed before. Here the topic
[Guide] Best way to Archive Bitcointalk and other webpages

If you find the topic who have been discussed before and thought if the topic is really useful and helpful for newcomer/newbie...
Just BUMP the old topic than create the same guide!
Make the similar post is only make the forum looks a bit dirty.

Looks like it just is or was created to get some Merits as the other thread the OP got a few for his work there ! Thats why its selfmoderated here i guess.
And it looks like just a little copy from the other thread with only pictures added here !

If you're looking for Bitcointalk posts, chances are I've archived them already. See Viewing unedited/deleted posts (search per post, per user or per topic).

New posts are archived within seconds, but I need about 4 more months to catch up on all older posts. As an example, I'll edit this post in a few seconds to add a link to it's unedited archive: http://loyce.club/archive/posts/5419/54199852.html

To prevent people from changing/deleting a post and denying they posted something before. Or just saving something for posteriority for any reason.

Many people in this forum doing scam. When you find a scam, you can report it on Reputation or Scam accusations board. But after seeing your report they can delete their posts.  So if you archive the post which you collect as a proof, after deleting the post you can proof the scam. Because the post is saved in your archive website.

Archiving page or a site is very important to save an evidence for busting spammer, scammer and many more. There are other site where you can also archive a site or page and the one you provide is one of it that can archive a website or the website's page. Mostly is for busting scam projects.

<…>
A minor usage of archived pages is that of being able to retrieve statistical information on a given date. For example, the forum number of posts and topics (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php) can be retrieved for a variety of dates from sites such as TheWayBackMachine, which allows to obtain a snapshot of the situation at a given (and archived) point in time.

Other tools option for permanent archive.
You can try to use arweave services. Data will be stored forever on their blockchain (they called it blockweave).
I have been using it since a few months ago.. As an example.

For which sites you talking about? I have used 6+ sites for archiving my contents. I was not asked for re-captcha. But unfortunately, https://archive.st/ is asking for re-captcha.  Smiley Smiley And VPN? afaik if any IP address would not be reported then you can easily use these sites without VPN.
