Should I sell bitcoin now?

Everyone is telling that bitcoin is going to 3K. Every news and notifications points that the trend is going towards 3K.
Bitmex CEO is twitting he believes bitcoin could go even as low as 2100, so would it be better to sell my bitcoin now and buy for 50% cheaper?
Seems like everybody are trying their best to decrease the price, it might be better to move with the herd?

I dunno, a month ago was it just me getting flooded with articles on "bitcoin past $10k, where will we end: $13k, 15k, 20k...."

People are scared that btc took it's dive but in a month it'll probably go back to being old news...

I may sell SOME I haven't fully decided myself.

Theres this saying that in crypto currency everyone is obliged to their decisions.
If bitmex ceo believes bitcoin will go down, what are your initiatives ? is it to believe the bitmex ceo, or check through your own research finding, chart monitoring and figure out what next yourself ?

Nothing beats self dependency in crypto currency, do your own findings, determine if you are in profit and move in to safety, but still it is your own decision alone.

Some people are expecting BTC to fall and some people to rise

When BTC dropped to sub 5k USD levels, people were saying that BTC was over, it was the end etc, and in a few weeks BTC got back to 7k USD
Now we are having a sideway market, and probably will fall a little, but no one knows this answer, maybe you sell your coins a BTC rise to 8k

So make a plan, you don't have to sell everything, you can sell some coins and wait

But if you are a long term man, just hold, don't need to be affeted by this

I dont get where you see that everyone predicting that?  Dow Jones made more then 10% this week. That is like Bitcoin would make 50%. Bitcoin is behind all that stock optimism. If stock market is not wrong ( it could be) then Bitcoin will follow.

That is exaggerating that "everybody" is telling that Bitcoin is falling to 3k because only those Fud creators are putting this to conversations.

That is your call, and you should know what you should do.

You can hold your bitcoin or sell it right away, but you should not regret if somehow, bitcoin price increases. That will happens too if bitcoin price decrease so you can buy bitcoin back at a low price. Ask yourself, and you might get the answer. I already sold some of my bitcoin when the price reaches $7,300, but I haven't bought bitcoin again because I am waiting for another lower price

HODLL. Thing is, are you going to use it for something or what? Not really a good thing to ask a public forum imo, so you should probably investigate a bit more. If you actually see any reason behind what they say EXCEPT for their bs TA's, then you might follow it. But if it's just random speculation bs, then I suggest following what YOU want instead. Additionally, even if there was proof, if you don't really need money that immediately, I suggest hodling. Best power out there tbh. And mate, here's the thing. We aren't some weird ass cult ( no offense to the legit cults out there) here that blindly believes what CEO's and well-known people spout. We are well educated human beings that bloody know how to think, so I suggest stop listening to them until they have at least minimal factual basis for what they are actually saying.

Some in this forum say that BTC will soon be worth $0, so it's just a matter of believing them or BitMEX CEO. He is building his speculation on the basis of another major earthquake that will hit the stock market, similar to what happened a month ago. The question is whether this could happen again, or whether financial aid injected into economies around the world will still prevent another decline?

Hayes claims that despite the stimulus of $2 trillion in the USA, stock market will collapse again, and that will drag BTC at the new bottom. But he is also say that this year will end with $20 000 for 1 BTC, and just a month ago he say that bottom will be at $6000. 

Maybe he's just saying what most people want to hear?

I don't see it will gonna happen again. I got what the author means but I think people already panicked regarding the pandemic coronavirus outbreak and besides, the price of Bitcoin last week was showed a little resistance. If you are real crypto enthusiasts, don't listen about this kind of FUD news. We all know that the price of Bitcoin and the entire crypto market is unpredictable. Just HODL and help the market being manipulated with these kinds of people. They don't have enough proof, it's pure speculation.

if someone told you that bitcoin will fall @$3000 is totally a big lie.  They want to create panic and its thier opportunity to full thier bags with bitcoin, after a month or two after the dump they will say bitcoin will reach 11,000..

I dont get where you see that everyone predicting that?  Dow Jones made more then 10% this week. That is like Bitcoin would make 50%. Bitcoin is behind all that stock optimism. If stock market is not wrong ( it could be) then Bitcoin will follow.

The feds are printing money non stop and pumping the market is why.

Monday - 60 bill
Tuesday - 60 billion
Wednesday 60 billion
Thursday - 2.3 TRILLION to hide unemployment.

And this is what is being announced. I am sure its more.

Thursday around 8:30am futures were down close to 1%. In a single candle it went from -1 to +1.5. Next candle pushed it over 2%. They did this to offset the bad news of unemployment.

Hmmm, the world is shutdown, we have an unknown disease killing people, balance sheet highest ever, unemployment highest ever. And DOW does best week since the 1930's. This is because the central banks are pumping it. Well, they are handing it to investors and letting them pump it.

Japan really never recovered from WW2 and their central banks own 80% of all stocks. This is what will happen here as we headed for a deep, deep, deep hole.

BTC certainly could go to 3k. It could also decouple from following the market and take off on its own. However, I believe they will not stop pumping the markets until election so odds are higher that BTC will go up than it will go down.

But do NOT think the market is doing anything good. It  is essentially the feds slowly taking it over to help calm people.

It was too early to decide about selling, not this time.
Well, that all be possible but something has to wait and closely observe the market rather than to be affected such news. They are also speculating the market and it might be right or just a FUD ( a whales strategy). If the price will go down close to $4k, I have to sell some of my Bitcoin. But I hope it won't happen and I hope people won't do stupid things about selling their Bitcoins upon seeing this one.

Depends to your situation and how you will handle the fear that you are feeling right now. We've heard of good and bad predictions so if you go with the crowd it's up to you.

But before that, think of it many times and have a firm decision.

Everyone decides for himself but personaly I don't think now it's best time for selling. Of course everything depends if you have bought your coins and at what price, do you need the money etc.
However, I think that Bitcoin price will recover and rise again. Having in mind current situation it's hard to tell when and in what extend that will happen but if you have enough patience don't sell now.

Saying is always there from a decade I do agree many analyst say BTC will hit badly but this is not the first time they are speculating. Market is not controlled by any one mate like you Know crypto is owners risk, BTC is strong enough to manage the downfall but that doesn't mean it will affect badly. I would suggest you not to sell BTC before Halving have some patience.

We can freely decide on what we are going to do our Bitcoin holding, it is either you will buy or sell on it. But always remember don't be dumb if you will sell under the price when was you are bought the Bitcoin and your profit was not there. This is not a good to decide on selling our Bitcoin. I am expecting that this Bitcoin price will have a strong resistance when Bitcoin halving will successfully occur.
Don't be a weak holder, be strong and don't make whale laugh on your decision.
