Many DEXs currently have real liquidity and are not manipulated like most CEX. DEX is still the best in my opinion and irreplaceable.

Depends on which dex, there might be some exploit aswell within dex system we don't know for sure. CEX isn't that bad, maybe it's centralized and only good for exchange money but not for saving money long term but if you ever try to use CEX and intent to keep your money there for a long time, be sure to choose the one with guaranteed reimbursement when hacking occurs. No question with Binance and Coinbase as prominent exchanges. But lately, I've been reading bad experiences through Coinbase. Orders that have been confirmed never get through and the traders receiving emails that those trades were processed unsuccessfully.
