I am complete not aware of what would be the price range for an operating exchange business but definitely not in $1.5k to $1k levels. Because exchanges are charging at least 0.5 BTC for listing a new coin which means an exchange may make at least $3000 with a new business, then how you could expect to buy the entire set up for just half of that?

These prices are completely out of range from OP's budget. Also, when exchanges are one time build up business and then it will require only time to time maintenance and other minor works still it will be an awesome passive income generator all 24X7, how someone will kill their golden egg laying goose?

I'm not sure if this link is accurate, but I bet the figures aren't that crazy to believe[1]. Other than what Gembul mentioned, I doubt you can find anything great if your budget is only $2k. Might as well built it on your own and register it in Estonia. Not to mention there are several open sources DEX out there that could compete with your exchange.

User 'Cooper1990' is a newbie, but your options are set such that you cannot receive PMs from newbies. Therefore, you cannot send PMs to newbies, either.
