The fact that these scammers could spam people so easily in telegram also contributes to that. I think telegram should review their rules once more regarding spamming. I know it's client to client encryption but they should atleast make it harder for people to repeat the same message again and again. Indeed we can set our privacy so that these scammers can't invite us into random group but it's just that. Accoutn flagging feature will really help if telegram could.

Because everyone is anonymous here, you only need a phone number to create and account and getting a new mobile number is not hard, plus telegram takes great care of encrypted communication, so it protects its users but also give greater chance to scammers.

well, I totally agree with you, there are a lot of weaknesses of telegram because to be able to create a telegram account only requires a smartphone number which in my opinion is still very cheap to get so many fraudsters roam the telegram that have cryptocurrency business.

I don't really think that criminals and fraudsters only use Telegram, it's more about the encryption behind it and security.
Also used by regular people, but fraudsters prefer not to have their conversations easily decoded. Basically anybody can use it to communicate.
However, there are much more secure apps to communicate than Telegram.

There are many people who PM me at telegram but most of them are invitations to invest in HYIP projects and I feel that these are definitely fraudulent projects so I often ignore these messages. Dont trust those offering you to earn, I encountered such many times and if you're a kind of person who can easily lure in then you will end up getting victimized. It is true that, there are many fraudsters in Telegram because that's where majority of projects group, support, channel is, that is to say, there is very high number of people, which gives fraudsters a good chance of finding someone to defraud. Agree, it would be safer if we did not share information about emails or anything in the group telegram. There are many scammers in telegrams and we should always be vigilant because sometimes scammers imitate the admins of a project. Usually the admin of a group is prohibited from doing private messages first
