In the last 6 months POLIS went almost from 0 to having a working product. It is now possible to pay with crypto with the PolisPay app in places like Amazon, Starbucks, Steam and mobile providers in over 100 countries. Plus they have a working debit card that can be charged with POLIS and you can pay with it anywhere in the world where they accept VISA or Mastercard (this is still in the testing phase and is limited to 500 people but it will be available worldwide in a couple of months).



DASH on the other hand has over 63% of the masternode market + it is more and more popular in countries like Venezuela and South Africa where people start to use it in their daily life.


So what do you think? Can POLIS surpass DASH and become nr. 1 in the payment industry?

POLIS is good & underrated but out of the radar when compared to Dash. Actually nothing can be compared to Dash even Bitcoin itself. Dash is great & will always be the best privacy coin out there.
POLIS lacks the power of being listed & trading into one of the major exchanges (Binance, Kucoin, oKex ...) for more exposure among the crypto community.

I never heard about POLIS before, however, I would say that DASH has already established itself in the industry so it will be very difficult to just topple someone here in crypto specially as far as payment system is concern. No, unfortunately not! DASH is a huge name in the altcoin world. POLIS is not even ranked within the 300 altcoins. It has so much to grow in order to be near what DASH has contributed. It is too far from competing DASH.

Probably true! But both of these cryptos are very useful when it comes to real world use. You can order a prepaid card from both which opens up a big opportunity to spend cryptos in real life. But Dash is old and more famous than Polis at this moment so it is very unlikely that Polispay will be able to defeat Dash right at this moment. But both services are highly usefull in real world.

Earlier crypto adopters know that literally anything can be possible to happen when it comes to cryptocurrencies. If Polis gets to have a working product with nice specs, you can expect it to rise to the top 100-200 cryptos. Maybe it gets an even closer-to-the-throne rank, who knows?

Early sub-$0.5 DASH inverstors probably never expected the project to go that well. I imagine how amazing it was for them to witess the rise to +$1.6k. It all goes down to the way a project looks after years of its launch and development. Lots of factors, obviously, but the free hard work of the devs gets paid one day very well if it's a proven success.

1. There's more in cryptocurrency than what we see daily. Dash has come a long way for a new token to surpass its achievements.

I have just read about PolisPay. So, the use case is for empowering payment and empowering master-nodes, right? It is also tradable on some exchanges and have been listed on CMC, rank 383 with Volume (24h) around $4,551.55 USD. Good enough, moreover, now, it also follows the uptrend, so the price is rising well if seen from the chart.

I am not sure if Polispay can easily rival Dash. because, Dash itself has been well established and it has a large community. In addition, in the crypto world, sometimes the popularity of a coin is crucial. If PolisPay can enter rank 20 in CMC, it might be able to compete with Dash. But for now, I don't think so.

Though I have heard Polis before but it doesn't come close to the popularity of Dash. They will have a long journey to even compete with Dash in the market. Just looking the overview between Dash and Polis in CMC will give you idea how far they are -

I know at the moment DASH is more popular, but when it comes to development and adoption POLIS has achived more in the last 6 months then DASH did in the last 2 years. If POLIS will release a worldwide working VISA card then i think POLIS will fly past DASH in less then a year from now.
