[List] Members close to rank up to Legendary, needing up to 50 merit.

You guys know what was the struggle for those to rank up from Hero to Legendary, back in the day when the merit system was young. Now things have changed but I still see some members struggling to get the last merit.
I would like to make a list of those who are really close to rank up but not have yet achieved the needed merit and are missing like
50 merit to rank up, They won't be so many but if any merit source at the end of the month have some smerit he wants to throw in a good direction instead of wasting it away, here is one possibility.

New ones:
sportsbet.io
No.1 in the list is sportsbet.io with 42 merit in need to rank up Legendary.
No.2 in the list is GreatArkansas with 46 merit in need to rank up Legendary. Now it's up to hit the activity milestone.

Ranked ones
No.1 in the list is dannybrown with 14 merit in need to rank up Legendary.  Now Legendary
No.2 in the list is tyKiwanuka with 30 merit in need to enter the rank up race with 994 of activity. Now Legendary

Those are for now.

There are some other members like BTCforJoe, but they are inactive for the past 1.5 years.

For now those were the candidates needing merit to rank up to Legendary and were active, maybe I'll add those who need up to 100 merit, or add those who are close to rank up to Heros.

OP updated. Two new candidates close to enter the legendary race this week, as they need approximately 40+ merit to reach the 1000 Milestone.  One with activity of 1456 for sure will rank up when he reach the needed merit.

He only needs 58 merit to rank up. I added him since you stated that you maybe add those who need up to 100 merit.

This will change when/if i become a merit source.
I see their merit has changed, that's good. Everyone who has received so many merits deserves to rank up

I am posting here to know about one thing. GreatArkansas needs 46 merits to rank up Legendary and he has achieved it. But his rank is not up to Legendary.

We see that Legendary rank up requires 1000 merits and 775-1030 activities.

We see that both o_e_l_e_o and iasenko has same activity "910" and both has more than 1000 merits. But iasenko is a Hero member and o_e_l_e_o is a Legendary member of this forum.

So is there any other parameter on the basis of which iasenko is a Hero Member and o_e_l_e_o is a Legendary Member?

That number was called "lucky number" IIRC, and from time to time, I think that theymos has disclosed some of them at request, otherwise, there's no way of knowing it.

No. I got lucky and iasenko didn't.

The exact number of activity you need to turn from Hero to Legendary is random per user. For interest, you can see the formula used for calculating the activity requirement here - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=237597.msg8298386#msg8298386

Essentially, your user ID is concatenated with a salt, the result is hashed using SHA-1, the first byte of that hash is taken, converted from base 16 to base 10 (giving a number between 0 and 255), and added to 775 to give a result between 775 and 1030. It is impossible to calculate this number without knowing what salt theymos has used in his equation.

No, all the accounts in this list are with activity over 775. They might not be a Legendary at the first cycle (some were lucky like oeleo to reach it on the second round) but this is special feeling for most of the people, being here for so long time. My wish was to get those people enjoy the Legendary run based only on activity. They have already achieved enough merit to prove that they deserve to rank up so it's just a little push to enjoy the last trip of the ranking up.
That's all. I wish I was a merit source already, so this thread won't be necessary
