The price is 1.25BTC + cost for if you opt for escrow.

Edit: I have a new account and it seems like those are automatically blocked so if anyone wants to converse with me privately you're going to need to unblock new users.

This is the exact same coin shown that shows it was won for 1.1BTC here:  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5230463.msg54030185#msg54030185

Now it's for sale in this thread for 1.25BTC

I'm guessing it was not claimed and your statement was inaccurate in the previous thread.  The bid didn't go any higher because it's a 2013 and on top of that, the hologram seems a bit scratched.  It had nothing to do with people being distracted.

Good luck with your sale.

Wouldn't it go to the 2nd highest bidder if the 1st one didn't pay?  Roll Eyes

That's how it usually works.  I'm guessing this user never even gave them an opportunity.

edit:
I hadn't checked what the second highest bid was.  Lol.

In the previous thread your bid of 0.001BTC would have been written off as a joke bid. Increments should be added to the face value of the coin to be considered (1.001BTC should have been your reply). The host of that auction was new and failed to establish the regular rules but this is why nobody will go to bat for you saying it should have been offered to you before attempting to resell it again. $6USD bid not considered, stop trying to raise the pitchforks.

Why would the OP's lack of experience with auctions write my bid off as a joke? Given the age of his account and lack of quality in the OP, my bid was 100% a reasonable bid imo. To that extent, I'll offer him the original winning bid of 1.1 w/ him paying MJ escrow fee.

Nice dude, $6USD premium on a Cas. You'll do good here.

Oh, I'm sorry...I won't try to take advantage of a situation when I see it... because no one has ever won bullion under spot value on here before  Huh Essentially the same thing. A 2012 Cas just sold for 1.075 so I guess my 1.1 BTC bid isn't good enough and should also be taken as a joke.

Now you're talking about a $515 premium versus your $6 joke premium. Learn where to choose your battles.. this one isn't a win. You were hoping for drama and you didn't get any backup, rightfully so. OP would be wise to take you up on the 1.1BTC and I'll leave it at that. With the recent Basorexia scam make sure to use escrow seller/buyer whoever they may be.

Yes, it is the same coin as in that auction.

The winning bidder did not claim it.  I was unable to message them due to having a new account so I don't know if they even bothered to to check back after placing the bid.  They may have simply assumed they lost.  It was also right when the COVID-19 thing was getting to be a major distraction so who knows.

Yes, I took the .001 bid as a joke.  Obviously I'm not going to sell it for less then face value.  I reserve the right to refuse sale to anyone for any reason.  I consider myself committed to the sale when either myself or escrow has received agreed upon payment.

For those of you arguing about the value, yes it does have some scratches, and yes I will entertain reasonable offers.  I would also remind everyone these contain all the forked coins as well.  That's justifies 5% over face value on it's own.  Even if you don't believe those coins will survive, whatever ones do will likely benefit from the failure of the others.  Though my biggest concern is that I make more than the cap gains tax I'll pay selling them.  I bought them as a novelty to show people and they are a bit spendy to walk around with.  I'm not a collector and would prefer to have liquid assets.

I am not new either to this forum or to the concept of auctions.  I was an ebay seller back in the days when people paid by money order and I had an account here back in 2011 but I guess they all got compromised and I wasn't able to get access to mine again so I made another.
