Is OKEX a good exchange?

I know that a few years back Chinese exchanges were doing most of the worlds volume but after the crackdown its died down alot.

BUt exchanges like OKEX, huobi are still seeming to do a large amount of volume.

Do you think they are good exchanges?

For example recently a coin that I have been following (Creditcoin) recently listed on OKEX and the volume has increased to almost 10m a day daily

but still many users are wary about trading on a Chinese exchange, and i do not think it has as much power as a global exchange like binance.

Anyways I am curious what everyones opinion is

Believe me, Okex had a very rough start, there way a time where people called Okex a scam exchange because they are slow at solving exchange users problem, like slow withdrawal and deposit issues but as time goes by Okex reshaped into something more better, now the exchange is on the list of top exchanges in crypto world today

For example Creditcoin which is only listed on OKEX and Bittrex from my understanding it is very hard to list on those exchanges if its a scam

They can also list scam coins in that exchange. I remember one of scam coins i have listed only in okex ,but they are also one of the trusted exchange  i use .
Open a scam accusation in different exchange is normal here. The review will only depend on you as user's and on your own experience using it.

As for my review i never experience any problem using that exchange even delay in transaction is not problem. you will also recieve a notification on your email every time you widraw or deposit any currency that exchange.

They're under the top 10 base on their liquidities.

But compare to Binance, I'll choose Binance than okex and huobi and there's this condition if your coin is just listed on okex, you have no choice but to trade there.

If their trading volumes are really that high then it might be good exchange(haven't used it) and when a platform becomes popular, complaints and bad experiences can't be avoided.

There's no way to avoid those exchanges since these two are the only exchanges that have the trading pairs for your coin. If the reputation is giving them doubts they could trade in small amounts to lower the risk of losing money in case their account gets disabled.

Probably but it's difficult to say since we don't know whats going on behind these listing procedures and it's possible there's negotiations.

Personally, I have traded on OKeX in 2018, never had a problem. Although the reason that I traded with them is because the token that I have received has been listed on them. It was still in the time wherein altcoin is not yet on the downturn or at least the altcoin market is still doing good that time. So I would say that they are A-ok based on my personal experience.

But everyone seems to be at odds, others say it is a scam, and had worst experience with them, while others like me have a smooth sailing. So I would advise to the OP since he had his token there to go and get a feel for OKeX and see how it goes for you.

Apart from okex research or other exchanges, you have to do independent research. Maybe Okex has a different standard for considering coins a scam and they also do different ways of researching.

If you ask for opinions about good exchanges,  maybe first you can measure them by their liquidity, transparency, and service especially how they solve user problems.

Great well I took the plunge and moved some money over from Bittrex to OKEX to try it out and its okay, seems to be alot of bot trading though for some coins, luckily the coin i wanted to buy (creditcoin) there wasnt bot trading but for some other coins it seems to happen alot

is this normal on these exchanges these days?

Sure, Okex is one of the 5 best exchanges in this market. I have used Okex for many years and am completely satisfied with it. In addition, OKex is similar to Binance, they have a lot of IEO and help many investors get profits. If Okex can do their job well, I think they will have a chance to surpass Binance

Yes that is what I thought too I remember okex being related to OKcoin and being one of the top exchanges in the world.

Basically any coin they list should also be a top tier coin as it has gone through their stringent listing process, i mean since they are the top exchange they only list top coins like creditcoin, bitcoin, ethereum, etc

Regarding OKEx exchange, I think this is a good exchange so far. I often to trade in this exchange and I have no problem so far.

Although I don't use Okex as my place to trade, I heard that Okex is good enough for you to be a place to trade. Maybe you can get a new experience to trade in that exchange so you can get more skills to trade because I think that exchange will be different than the other exchange. But still, even that exchange can give you a profit, and you need to analyze before the trade so you can find the coin to buy and sell. I still use binance to trade although I use bittrex too because bittrex is my old exchange. But we cannot compare one exchange to another exchange because I am sure that every exchange will have advantages and disadvantages.

so it does seem like OKEX does only list serious coins with good potentianal

Honestly I am not not using OKEX anymore but what I know about their reputation in the past is not good.
Well, we can't say that it will remain forever, maybe they have already improve now, but I think their volume is not real.

Okex is a good exchange cause i already tried trading my coins there before, but if i will pick between okex and binance i would choose binance cause ive already tested the exchange many times and i had no problem on it.

i think that issue was before when they are only getting started and it could be lack of support personnel but now that okex is now well know and big , they can now afford to hire a number of good people to work on the issues going on in the site  .

 its also normal to hear scam accuse even on good exchange like binance but that all can change if the exchange prove that they are worthy by giving appologaizes with incentives and more bonuses in the future  .

Sure, Okex is one of the best exchanges in this market. I have been using this exchange since 2018 and participating in a lot of their IEOs, it also helped me to gain a lot of profits. As I think, OKex can compete with Binance, the leading exchange in this market
