I am more concerned with an unknown web dev firm, who doesn't even have their own website, getting the contract. It's obvious there's some favoritism going on once again. You can't even find a single project they have completed, and they get the forum's coins for the project? You say you want to move towards something other than VB,SMF,etc then hire a complete novice to code it. It's really quite amazing.

Be honest, who are these people to you? How do you know them?

All talk, no proof of work. Yet they're going to make something standalone, custom, and secure that works more efficiently and is more full of features than a package like vbulletin, vanilla, smf, etc.

This will not be a good thing.

They are friends of friends of online friends that theymos has. Why doesn't that work for you?

just wakeup folks.. theymos is the admin and owner of forum and the donated BTCs its nothing that we can do.. we can cry or complain about that $1 millon usd but, "its gone"   pay that amount of money for 1 forum software its insane now this guys will make the deal of their life.. i am sure they never has seen 300k before. and now they are talking about 1 millon..

I think this is how satoshi gets money instead of destroying Bitcoin by spending his stash. I hope this is it.
