The black community is predisposed to certain health conditions. It's not that the virus is "racist", anyone with the health conditions that African Americans commonly have is at risk so it isn't dependent on race. Certain cities in the U.S, New Orleans comes to mind, have people  with issues related to hypertension, obesity, high blood pressure, heart disease, ect. It's not racist to point this out because socioeconomic factors that contribute to this, not race. Tony Fauci was on national TV saying the exact same thing and so was the Surgeon General Jerome Adams who's black himself.

Disease likes crowded urban and lower income areas. Lower income also typically means less likely to seek preventative medical treatment, in addition to what Gyfts mentioned. One hypothesis besides the socioeconomic factor (unhealthy foods are cheaper) is that certain conditions such as the water retention that comes along with some health conditions mentioned may have increased survival rates on slave ships that came across to North America. This would leave their ancestors more genetically aligned for conditions that increase corona virus fatalities.

black people have some kind of parasitarian behavior, they enter a society and then complain about stuff they dont get, or they don't have, they use the race card all the time, to leech from a different race the economic product, in order to drain them, and take their place, instead of breeding their own children black people systematically try to change the flow of production in order to achieve their racial agenda.

of making the entire human race black.

this corona virus is racist crap is another attempt to force white taxpayers paying for the black racism agenda instead of funding their own childrens education.

the big question is why is the mainstream media still supporting their agenda?

I consider this as fake news we all have the same immune system it just so happen that one immune system is better than the others, there's also asymptomatic in white or black people but that doesn't mean that the virus is racist, no race or ethnic is safe right now as every nation has this virus and if we cannot find a cure majority of the people in this planet will get infected.

So coronavirus effecting the African American communities disproportionally is that community complaining about not getting things? You know rural hospitals in the midwest are doing the same thing right? They're asking for resources from the federal government to ensure their supply of PPE are stocked.

Everyone's being effected and everyone's complaining, not just black people.

A simple hypothetical.

If you gave one group of people PPe like masks, and gloves and another group nothing.  The virus would inefect much more of the group that had no protection.

That is what is happening just in a less direct way.  In real life the protection is the ability to work from home, access to testing, personal vehicles and a history of fair healthcare.

the article is not saying that the virus itself is racist but how the virus shows how racist the government is to different ethnicity. she's basically trying to says that non-white or poor people, in general, are more vulnerable to the virus because of how the government actions to fight the virus favours mostly white people and neglects other ethnicities. the author didn't actually say it like how I wrote it. I just summarize and interpreted what the article is actually trying to say to the readers.

seems king scoprio makes another topic to be a racist..

lets clear things up

certain communities are pre-dispositioned to certain health things. this is not the virus being racist. this is the human body being variable depending on gender/race and react differently

secondly some area's have certain communities that actually care for their wider family in a close knit community. they dont send their grand parents to retirement villages or move them to florida. instead they look after them at home
this isnt racial. this is social

no virus/ailment is 100% equal in how it ffects the recipient. there is always going to be a disproportionate of a certain community/group that is affected more than others.

even the things like the gender difference. its nt just biological science. but also social/hygiene difference between the genders
females are well known to be more hygienic by using moisturisers, soaps and stuff more often. this is not a thing that a virus looks for with some racial profiling gismo built in. its just each person is different in many ways and ofcourse there will not be a equal % of infections.

even social things like basement dwelling trolls are at less risk than socially/physically active members of the public. purely due to the number of people they get near on average multiplies the odds of getting it.

its not a simple how much money do people have in their banks as being the cause of how much risk they are at.
its more about how sociable someone is not just outside the home with strangers, but inside the home with how many relatives they live with.

a rich guy with 10kids and a grandma that lives in a mansion is more at risk than a poor single basement dweller
a poor basement dweller living with his momis at more risk than a rich guy living alone

its not a race or political economic thing.. its a general society thing.
no one is immortal. which is why its best EVERYONE socially distance and self isolate if you can
rich or poor black or white

I DO NOT TRADE OR ACT AS ESCROW ON THIS FORUM EVER.
Please do your own research & respect what is written here as both opinion & information gleaned from experience. many people replying with insults but no on-topic content substance, automatically are 'facepalmed' and yawned at

How can you believe such a thing that's why it's called pandemic because it can infect different races and already spread throughout the world even in Africa that th article calls nonwhite.
The virus only kills people if they have weak immune system so probably the white people in US who got the virus has already weak health.

If it is actually racist, they how about the differences in the numbers of dead in Ecuador, Colombia, and Nicaragua? Nicaragua has only one reported death. Ecuador reports hundreds of dead but the real number is in the thousands. Why such a difference?

I can't comprehend that there's racism in this pandemic.

It's badly affecting everybody even rich and poor.

All of us have to strengthen our immune system and follow safety precautions to defeat this virus until they create a vaccine.

No need to point out a certain race or color.

As said, it can potentially hit everyone.

The fact that CV is racist, should anger people around the world. In the USA, the results of this anger should cause CV to be taken to court and charged with racism.

Obviously CV racism won't affect CV the disease. But if it is done properly, it will bring out into the open the people behind CV, and how they are trying to ruin the economy of nations through Covid-19. This way, even if we don't get racism satisfaction, we will at least get rid of the crooks and criminals behind the whole pandemic, and make them pay.

Perhaps certain vaccines were shipped to the black communities, and this caused people to become diabetic and at the same time lose immunity to the SARS2 Coronavirus.

It's easy to confuse the cause and the result of something. Do motorcycle helmets reduce deaths by half? Or do riders who volunteer to wear helmits tend more safety conscious riders who don't get in to accidents as much, and are less likely to die whether or not they wear a helmet?

So instead of people with diabetes being susceptible to the SARS2 coronavirus, perhaps those who are susceptible to the SARS2 virus also tend to have diabetes? Or really both conditions are actually caused by a 3rd thing, a vaccine that may have been given over 20 years ago.

There is even a study linking the Hepatitis B vaccine to type I Diabetes:
https://www.webmd.com/diabetes/news/20000613/hepatitis-b-vaccine-linked-to-onset-of-diabetes#1
