Fake Translators

I've visited the altcoins section. One thing that caught my attention was that 2 translation threads (in Thai) were published by Raman123 and Rummypandwar on the altcoins board.


At first I thought they were fighting over a slot. I saw IQ CASH spreadsheet(the bounty they are currently joining), and in fact they registered in a different language (Hindi & Thai), I checked the posts history and found it surprising, these users have applied in a different language in other campaigns.

Regarding Merits, there is no rule to put negative trust with them.

Yeah, it's possible to someone make an agency of translators and get works from here; which I doubt anyone would be interested to work on such projects where reward is never guaranteed.
I have checked the Hindi translation as well & it's looking like automated translation as well. He might be an Indian (from the username) but I guess still he is using automation translation.

No, google translate does not translate every thing perfectly. If you a native speaker, you can easily judge that the translation is done in real or it is just translated from google.

Not really, Google translate mostly translates the body word for word and their sentence conversation isn't that perfect that anyone who can speak and read the local language will see the grammatical errors in what they have translated.

The thing that bugs me about this is Rummypandwar  didn't apply for Thai translation in that project yet he made a Thai translated post. This leads me to believe that one of them is an alt of another since they have posted the same Google translated post. The titles are the same, the time posted are not that far away from each which just shows that the person might have mistakenly posted the same post twice using two of the accounts.

GT is actually using AI to learn common phrases from books, magazines, movies, etc... making the translations as human like as possible. Even you when you translate something with GT can suggest grammatical correction.

It is getting harder to filter out these scammers. One way to do it is to ask a trusted native user of the language to make a conversation with them using as many difficult phrases as possible. If not, they'll just straight up use Google Translate to write the reply. However, finding a trusted user is also hard, not everyone might agree that A or B is trusted, and sometimes there's only one user who has the requirements.

I sometimes ask help for my friend to do translation in my previous but with same Filipino language due to my heavy translation work in the past. But based on OP evidence, the guy is obviously using Google translate so that he can get more stakes by translating other language too. This incident happened a lot during 2017 to 2018 ICO craze which results to many fake translators got red trust for cheating. The account deserves a red trust for using automated translation app which is a form of cheating.

Regarding the merit. There is no solid proof that they commit merit abused since the only lead that OP indicates are the number of merits of 2 account are the same.
