I am thinking the same as you. If the pandemic is not over until the halving time, I guess that we need to wait for more. But we hope that in June this year, the pandemic will end so we will see the rise of the crypto market.

I previously thought that the price of bitcoin could be very high, maybe around $ 15k after the start of halving, and it will still continue to rise. however, when a pandemic is haunting, so many industries are falling, even the price of bitcoin has also been dumped. for now, I just hope the price of bitcoin soon returns to the $ 10k range.

We will see that price soon after the pandemic is over, but right now, we need to be patient and keep trying to prevent the virus. I think bitcoin price does not just increase for $10k, but it will increase more than that price. Ever since the pandemic started crypto market has lost her potentials. Those that love crypto are the ones still acquiring bitcoin till this moment. Nevertheless there will be a little bit increase in price after the halving. When am expecting an amazing impact of the halving will be next year, not this year.

Right now, there are too many bad news: covid-19, stock crashed, oil's price drop to negative, lockdown in plenty of countries,... Never keep your expectations high is what I have learnt in my life. Neither did I keep much expectations from the upcoming halving nor am I keeping any expectations from it now. But yeah the recent events have changed my beliefs on bitcoin.
According bitcoin has performed quite well in these pandemic days. Most of stocks had seen a sharp fall in it's price but stayed quite strong.
It has held on to it's price quite well and this made me believe more in bitcoin.

I'm really positive about this incoming bitcoin halving but if this pandemic will still continue, i guess there will still be a good price increase but it won't be too high like everyone else here is expecting before this corona virus has started. indeed the possibility that could have happened but I still doubt it because the current condition is there is an outbreak of corona virus that is currently spreading so fast and making the world economic conditions to be destroyed as it is today so I doubt the price of bitcoin when halving will rise to become expensive or not wait only until halving occurs.

of course more and more people will start trading on bitcoin because maybe they are curious about bitcoin and want to get a lot of profit from bitcoin by buying bitcoin when halving will only make new traders get stuck at high prices because surely after that price will fall back as they happened last year.

Yes, that's actually true. We suffered a lot worse than this. I'm optimistic what will happen after halving but I am not speculating for the bitcoin's price to go very high but I think there will be positive change. If this pandemic didn't occur, I think the outcome is way better. But we need to accept the fact that a lot of people around the globe is suffering and those small crypto users are significantly affected by this situation.

I have control on my emotions and expectations and that is why I do not let myself to become hype to the bitcoin halving. There are now a lot of people who do not manage their expectations and it seems that they are now hype. They always saying that the price will rise because of the halving, it is just pure speculation and that is why we should not just buy bitcoin without risk and management. Honestly no. But before the pandemic i had very much positive expectation on halving. But now days i just pray that somehow btc survive in this pandemic situation. But i'm confident that if this crisis will over soon not just btc the hole crypto currency market will rise strongly again. Now let's see how much we have to wait for cure.

Yes that the point, if people need money and because covid a lot are not working and getting income, they will sell it, It's not everyone that have a lot of BTC and don't need to sell, just my opinion, but I think that the bull run will not be this year, and the good thing is even falling BTC will be the first thing to rise after all this situation pass.
