Ophir is a platform that provides merchants and traders with easier access to gold transactions that live on multiple public blockchains and more so creating an ecosystem that brings back gold to the hands of its users. Its objective is to revert to the previous practice of placing gold as the standard value for transactions. Through these gateways, any individual with a connection to blockchains that Ophir supports will be given the freedom to move gold across borders within a matter of minutes.

The OPR, Ophir's digital token, is backed by 1 gram of real gold per unit. The company has chosen gold as its equivalent value because of its practical hedge against inflation and versatility as a financial instrument. OPR transactions are fee-less, Sharia compliant, and transferable across blockchain networks with adequate internet and blockchain protocol access. Ophir has begun coordinating with relevant remittance partners to allow for withdrawals and remittances at a minimum of 100 grams per transaction.

I can't find any details about it on the whitepaper as well (which is just a short 10-page document).

Thank you for your kind words. Regarding the minimum withdrawal of 500 OPR (500 g AU), transportation and handling costs for physical gold
is difficult and expensive for small amounts of gold being transported repeatedly, so a workaround was put in order.
Another reason is to reduce, if not eliminate other fees that competitors have like recasting fees!

However, further along the road-map, we can partner with other vaults nearer to provide easier
and lower minimum redemption for on-demand redemption of gold.

It doesn't matter, you answer here or in telegram group have the same good. All you need to do is to display the team and their information such as linkedin or others social media that they have because another people will ask the same question again and want to know who behind the project, if you did not running your project through anonymity then I guess you could provide those information.

Hi! We are selling gold owned by a hedge fund in the Netherlands called Greymore & Partners B.V.
Actually, it's not sold at high prices and we don't really want to see it as an ICO per se.
We are not raising money for it, since the product is already on hand.

In some cases some investors don't care about the price because what they want is a really promising and good project that will produce some goods in the future.  However, I have seen a project whose tokens were sold at $ 40 during the ICO and the tokens went well until now.  But, I also have a few questions, the metal reserve part of this project is there any other projects that will be offered to the crypto community

There are plans from management to release new tokens to tokenize other metal commodities, but for now we are focusing on making the foundations for Ophir and the others to come!
