Real Estate are commodities imo...

I've seen a lot of day traders using trading view and nothing but trading view... It seems very popular and has a lot of functions even on the free version. Some day traders will use their own (probably) software and their own analytics too to decide a trading strategy. What's good today might not be good tomorrow...

Trading view have pro and basic options but the basic free tier is enough for what you'd need starting out.

I'm not sure how much I'd trust signals myself you're better off loosely trying to find trading patterns or look into technical analysis.

Investing.com is free though and their sentiment analysis and historical rates might be interesting to look at. I wouldn't trade straight off raw data though.

After CMC was owned by Binance, I strongly recommend everyone to use more than one (market data sites) to track prices, especially for currencies with small market capacities.
Coingecko is the best site so far and I can recommend https://cryptowat.ch/.

Trading view is a good site for everyone who wants professional trading.

-alternative investment assets (includes art, collectibles, private equity, hedge funds etc)

it's in its own class. it can't be considered a commodity because commodities must be fungible/interchangeable, which real estate most certainly is not. sometimes people group real estate under the "alternative investment asset" umbrella.

Vanguard have a global real estate fund and that looks to have crashed quite a bit already, I'd personally hold off investments in real estate in the west for about 18 months as they have far to fall and I imagine they will...

Is REIT just for commercial real estate only?

I signed up on tradingview basic free, what do I type in the search to get charts for all of UK home market so I can track home prices, not just for capital london or commercial properties.
