I feel like he's Satoshi's reincarnation lol he was born on april 6th and Satoshi on the 5th. He is mining Bitcoin, coding websites, and really interested in programming. I left puzzled too with the OP's statement.
Specially now that the halving is approaching and the rewards cut into half plus mining rigs requires a hardware upgrade to further cater the pace of solving the blocks.

@OP, Man, you can't be serious with this. At least your first statement is believable, but the second one I don't think your son is "really" mining Bitcoin. I doubt he's just making another faucet that looks like he's mining.

Faucets are almost same, but you can get some altcoins like Doge very quick and play with them, learn about wallets, transactions and get better picture how crypto is working.

If a boy has a talent and a desire for programming, then his skills should be developed in that direction, but he is still very young, so over time he will understand what is good and what is bad.

You should give him the right tools to work with, if he really enjoys to code then you could gift him a vertical monitor. He will really appreciate it and becomer more efficient.

This makes sense and could possibly happen. What's more, nowadays children can be more free to look for something and explore it, including Bitcoin. He is now in Junior High School? It may be his willing or curiosity about a site and then try it well and get the way to get BTC.

Are you sure? I don't even believe on reincarnation, but if you do believe, it is up to you. However, we don't really know that Satoshi was really born on that date or not. Although it is the same, it doesn't mean to be so.

I don't know exactly about this, but, if it is really true and it is worth it, you as the parent should be wiser on it. Guiding him is a must. We don't know whether the result of mining will be worthy or not, but, never make so over proud of what your kid does, it may make your kid overconfident and when the result is not what's like he wants, he may be disappointed. So, be normal, let him learn more and more about this.

Maybe he is not that too serious when putting his personal info while signing up, even in this forum I don't really want for you guys to know my birthday. But the fact that he didn't explained anything about that stuff looks very suspicious to me.

And for the kid, if it is true that he has this eagerness to program codes then might as well the OP should support him, the demand for computer related courses will drastically increase soon.

You as the father is supposed to introduce him to this forum, where he will understand that he will need a mining hardware probably Asic. But maybe you chose not to. Today there are a lot of children getting curious into the world of bitcoin or cryptocurrency and most of them are watching some videos on youtube how to earn bitcoin and some of them have already computers so most of the thing they are known to make more bitcoin is mining today there are a lot of browser mining extension on their search engine and also a cloud mining.

It is good too if he does want to learn more in programming language because it is a good tool for creating some algorithm and systems that are related to the world of bitcoin to make better understanding how does the network of the coin works.
But I think it is better to guide him into his decisions and especially if it is a money related to avoiding getting scam because at that age the mindset of the child is prone to mental illness it is too hard if at the early age they already experience depression.

If you think he really loves coding it is good to become a computer science, computer engineer or in Information Technology so still, inline into the world of bitcoin at that kind of early age he can now do some stuff like deep dive in the bitcoin.

That's a good start, it may help him if you buy some coding tutorials from udemy.com. at least some things he could do while lockdown. The tutorials are videos that anyone can follow already.

I would probably encourage him to try solidity language if he is my kid. Probably develop his own project later on. Who knows your kid could make revolutionary things one day.

In fact, browser and cloud mining is almost certainly going to get people into negative income if not done right, they're far better off just saving up to buy a bit of bitcoin. Faucets also work, but really it's only if you just want to test it and willing to slam faucets for 100 days or so to make min withdrawal. And yeah, probably suitable for most teens, but if he's good at coding, just go code on fiverr or some other and get paid in btc;)

P.S. I got btc for my kids and one of them already lost it. Lesson: I need to hold their private keys. I kinda expected it though, good thing it was a small amount. On the bright side, I contributed to btc's scarcity factor!

To be honest, my mind isn't allowing me to believe your story especially when I have seen your bitcoin wallet script sell thread. If in case this story is true then help your son to go ahead and achieve his goals. Its reasonable age (14 years old) to understand about bitcoin technology although it's quite hard. You should more motivate him about cryptocurrency, programming, coding  and related stuff since he is encouraged by himself. Regarding mining not sure about profits but I believe he should know everything about it.

What you just said might not be accurate but I guess your son is interested in bitcoin, learning bitcoin was not a bad thing for a 14years old and to be honest, this is a good thing to learn and could add up to his knowledge since bitcoin was a technology. I guess just support him in what he's doing and for sure you will not complain if he earning bitcoin or money on his own.

If you have enough resources or you have knowledge about cryptocurrency or bitcoin it would be better if you do it with your son at the same time.

You should ask your son to save all the collected bitcoins and do not sell them now. He can concentrate on his studies and take a career in programming and after 10 years, his collection of bitcoin will be valued a lot of value. The best thing is that new generation is very much interested in bitcoins and crypto currencies.

He's not my son but i have a smile on my face reading through this, it's really a great idea seeing a teenager being focus and trying out stuffs that will help out in life later. Well, to be honest, mining on phone isn't profitable one bit as those websites compasate users fpr view just ads and not the proper mining that has to do rigs solving technical questions, but either way, it's a good start. For the programing aspect, i'd love if you can encourage him with online courses subscription where he will learn more for the time being. Who knows, you guys might create a badass tech one day
