Latvia’s parliament has passed a bill that allows all legal casinos to begin their operations from 9th June, and with this bill they have ended the state emergency which was put in place to tackle covid19.

They can do it, they have the least number of people infected with COVID ONLY Confirmed 1,088 AND 781 recovered, they handle the virus effectively, I was surprised on the number, Europe has the highest infection and yes Latvia manages the pandemic effectively I hope all those country who will open casinos can follow the guidelines set up by the government so there would be another wave of infection.

That's the point,Latvia is in good situation about the Pandemic but not UK,they are on the top list of highest Victim of this Covid19 ?

But anyway Las Vegas already opened their casino houses even USA is the highest infections,Hope the spread won't continue because of this actions,lets pray for their safeties and their economy to recover faster.

It will trigger more cases of Pandemic as many will do socialising and may have contact to some infected. But life must go on since there's no vaccine available yet, and the economy needs to revive. Let's just assume that people or gamblers will take necessary precautions and will do take care of themselves to avoid covid. Cases numbers will not stop many to continue their business or their hobbies especially now that many countries lifted their lockdown and needs to move on or start to a new normal to keep living.

They badly need to get back on their feet to sustain its personnel and the tax that they are paying to the government. But I think they will still gain a lil bit of profit even if their clients are greatly reduced. Their operational costs will be cut down also. Because if they will not get any profit out of it, I don't think they will be encouraged to open their business.

Now some countries have taken the risk, by opening legal casinos. Indeed this looks like a bad decision, because it risked citizens life.
But if we see a lot of casinos employees who have difficulty buying daily necessities if not open casinos immediately, they could starve
to death. It is indeed ironic and a dilemma, on the one hand many citizens lives are threatened by COVID19. But we also have to
understand casinos employees also need income to buy food, imagine the number of casinos employees around the world there are
thousands of people who need a salary to buy food. I include agreeing casinos to reopen, but with the provisions of applying the COVID19
protocol.

This is a positive approach amidst the pandemic, these casinos cannot stay closed for so long, now that our scientist are working for the cure and it's only a matter of months before a cure will come out, industries should open up slowly as long as the companies and business can follow the preventions laid out by the government we can proceed, it's not about making a profit it's more of supporting the operations, in this trying times.

It’s pertinent to note that not all Latvian leaders were happy about this bill, and they submitted an updated bill to uphold the ban on land based casinos, but their bill was rejected by the parliament.

This bill is about physical casinos reopening, right? So it doesn't have to do anything with online casinos, let alone crypto casinos? So if it affects crypto casinos at all, it's probably in a bad way as people who stopped playing in physical casinos and turned to online ones for the time of the quarantine might be getting back.
I honestly don't understand people who prefer real casinos. People there see you, criminals can be hanging around, and you might get robbed after a big win because many people will know you won. Online casinos are so much safer and more comfortable. And during the pandemic it's still probably too soon to go to a physical casino.
