I'm not an sport gambling fanatic but I guess that may be exciting for them if it's back.  I guess those fanatic could live without it and since they can't do that much right now because most sports operation has been postponed due to pandemic, time will tell but surely it'll resume. I was also fond of sports betting even before lock down. But this situation is not forever thus we have to patiently wait for those NBA games to finally go back playing. And it is not fully the end of sports game, I can still bet some sports like DOTA, Hockeys and other sports in some gambling sites which is available in their site. I can't deny that I miss the game because when the game was still played daily, I've  been betting regularly, and now it was stopped so I have to stop as well. Sport/game, unity and enjoyment/fun combined are ok for me, as long as people are watching or participating in good type of sports/games  (Everything they show on TV should matter too though, so people don't get too exposed to unethical/bad/immoral things.)

By the way, some of the club matches I  watched in the past usually happen in the weekends or few times in a week.. This is ok to avoid indulgence.
So watch the good/safe sports, and also bet if you want, as long you are not doing this things to much or taking big risks.

I don't get it, how can someone do without watching football especially when you have been so used to it that you get excited the moment it's Friday knowing fully well the weekend will be spend watching your favourite players display brilliantly on the field and also creating an opportunity for you to make some extra bucks by betting on teams to win. Even in this lockdown, I still get the feeling to watch football in weekend which results to me rewatching replays.

I'm not just excited for the return of football but hoping everything returns to normal in the soonest time possible. The lockdown hasn't been that profitable to me and from the news and my observation, hunger has become the norm of the day even killing more individuals than the said Corona virus.

The pandemic, the lockdown for everyone, and the inactivity of sporting activities has so far proved to us that sport is a huge recreation and source of so much joy and income for the world; And for me, i would say it does not kill my desire; but i long for football and other sporting activities to come back soon.

The sporting channels during this lockdown has shown us several footballing highlights to keep us active and abrest; so if anyone thus lose desire in sports; perhaps they do not previously enjoy sports.

Being in lockdown if someone looks from different angle there are so many things we have learn and become resilience to. Like we have got connected to all the old friends and families. We have been doing video calls and getting connected this day. So many online learning courses are available for all range of people who are ready to take knowledge. I just rewatch old seasons right now when I miss it tbh. It's pretty fun in its own way especially the old ones, kind of remind me of the amazement I felt in the past. Plus, E-sports are still up and going so that's one saving grace. I watch both sports and e-sports competition and I enjoy them both so yea. I'm more worried with the players though like they have close to zero motivation since competitions are postponed and the spirit of competitiveness is pretty much gone temporarily cause of that. Sports is probably the one thing that innovation could not remove from the culture of people tbh, it could probably only add on to that, like the current e-sports scene. 

As for my desire, nope. I mean, just like what I said, I still watch them. I can wait tbh and i'm more than willing to. Compared to them playing with the current situation, not playing at all is pretty fine to me.

What I can't imagine at all is that the current pandemic means the end for any kind of mass sports. Why? Sport has become so much more than just a sporting activity, there are entire industries behind it. If you look at the huge sums of money spent on players today, or what companies such as Sky are costing themselves in terms of rights to broadcast the games, it quickly becomes clear that something like this cannot simply disappear. But what I can well imagine is that we will experience temporary restrictions. First and foremost, ghost gameswithout spectators.

Man I'm a huge fan of NBA and it really sucks that it's been a month I haven't watch my favorite players play inside the court. I agree with you, although I don't see the statistics that would prove our opinion, but I think this is really happening as it's a basic thing that would happen.
People are not making money due to lock down and we need money as our bankroll in gambling, therefore people would choose their priority which is their needs rather than gamble it and have fun or risk it hoping it will grow.

I guess im not the only one but I'm counting hour till the comeback of the real & normal sports world. I would like to watch some proper football, proper basketball, boxing, tennis, not to mention betting on any of these things.

Surely, after the Coronavirus pandemic will be back but for now, we should understand for the safety and health of players will also be at stake. Games somehow are also a business for bettors even players make it as a source of living so it will be impossible that these games will not resume after the pandemic. In fact, I am also excited to see my favorite team play again and beat other teams and become champion again. For now, since we are on lockdown we can try to be on e-sports(but I don't know how to verify a real tournament).

The addiction to sports gambling just died  I don't think there is a truth to sports gambling addiction but there is gambling addiction which is anything that will satisfy their thrills. Now that sports events are cancelled they are left with esports. I bet on boxing and MMA but esports is not my thing.
