Airdrop and giveaways are different things.

Altcoin giveaways are a reason for ban if I remember it right. Recently I ve seen some members banned for participating in those giveaways.

If it is an airdrop however, It should be OK.

You need to create an Announcement thread and tell when will the airdrop take place.

Luring people into some unknown telegram channel is shady business.

It's allowed as long as you will not chart anything caused by what you already offered is an airdrop that means free coins for everyone, remember this section is not the right place for you to promote your telegram group. You should move to the correct section like the bounty section.

As I observed many bounty or giveaway thread here in Bounty section. So far is allowed, as announcement requiring participants to join telegram group. So its okay, but dont ask for more like asking them to do or submit any requirement or as them to tweet something might let the users got banned.

There are plenty of announcement about bounty, but for giveaway, maybe not if your giving away altcoins. Only btc is allowed and post it on games and rounds.

As long as it's a regular airdrop, I think everything will be fine. Always remember that airdrops are free and you cannot ask KYC participants or deposit money to receive tokens from your project.

You are allowed to run airdrop, bounty, giveaway or whatever you want. But you have to make sure that you are doing it off forum. If you require someone to post in your bitcointalk thread or offer any incentive for posting on any bitcointalk thread, you will banned.

yes they make many airdrop here before just don't use many thread and focus only on the section that allowed to post your airdrop giveaways.

And yet many developers are doing this, Facebook groups have a lot of it, you should describe your project first and what it can do to the community and what are the goals of your project before inviting to your telegram channel, so people will know right away what they are going to expect from this channel and from the project.

My opinion is that for airdrops.   There's main reason behind it.one thing it have no any type of fee. Secondly many different types of  airdrops running successfully till now a days. Thirdly it's a good platform to  investment & working advertisements any bounty thread.

I agree with the colleague above and based on experience, that I have participated in airdrops and there are no problems that occur with the participation of airdrops that I have ever participated in. even to the end of the payment of the reward even though the value is small but it's worth the work we have done.
but I have heard from a friend that he had received a warning while following Airdrop, the aidrop was considered to violate existing rules. This makes me quite careful now with Airdrop.

If the problem is permitted or not I don't know, but if the token from the airdrop can be very good, then everyone will certainly allow it here, and vice versa if the token from your airdrop is a scam, then anyone will be angry and will not allow it here.
