I just read an article that bitcoin halving can make a big jump in Bitcoin and Ethereum price. They said Bitcoin can hit 10K USD, and for that, the author described 5 reasons! So, should I buy now or the price is already high? Which will be more beneficial, Ethereum or Bitcoin? Please help me out.

You still have time to buy mate because the best price is yet to come but you must understand the risk of buying on an up trend because we don’t know if the price will continue to pump and stay below $8k for bitcoin and below $200 for ETH. If you’re thinking for a good long term investment, go for BTC and ETH without having any regret. |

I don't think it's late if you only base on the date of the upcoming Bitcoin halving event. Besides its too early to speculate at the moment, Since we all know that the world now is at war with the unseen enemy called COVID-19 virus that makes our movements very limited. So don't expect too much to prevent any disappointments if your expectation will not turn into reality, just ride with the flow believe what you believe but just let the natural process works. |

Bitcoin hit $10k many times and also last year after the bear market of 2018. Bitcoin is the most beneficial for newbies but I will not stop you buying Ethereum. As for buying, you can buy now or it's your choice to wait until it gets high first and then say that it's expensive enough for you to buy.
Buy while it's under $10k.

If you are realistic about the returns, then go ahead and purchase Bitcoin. But I am not that sure about Ethereum. The developers are not working properly for Ethereum and many of the important deadlines were missed recently. Also, right now Ethereum is the no.2 cryptocurrency in terms of market cap. So the potential returns may not be that high. I would rather focus on some of the other alts such as EOS and Cardano.

buy bitcoin when the price is still cheap because it could be when halving that will happen at some time in the future will provide a very good price increase because surely demand will increase and certainly all transactions on the blockchain will increase and make the price of bitcoin at an expensive exchange place. |

Yes, it may jump the price of both the crypto currencies which are on top.
But, no one knows when it will be.
If you are expecting a lot in just a short amount of time then don't.
It might take long. Longer than your expectations..
Also, try to look for another reason into why you are buying it and just because of the halving.

Depending on your time frame. Short term perspective - Bitcoin and Ethereum are bullish right now so this isn't the right time to buy it. Wait for a bit of consolidation before opening a positions. Long term perspective - Many are thinking that these 2 coins have already reached the bottom when the market crashed by almost 40%. Maybe this is good time to buy for long term (buy and hold). Depends on how long you hold it. If you hold long term then yes maybe it is good to buy right now and hold for about 3-5 years but take note that anything can happen to the market. This year it can go up but next year can go down very hard. Just be ready  |

The golden rule of bitcoin - whenever you buy it, it will still become more expensive in the future. Sooner or later.
There are much more profitable days rather negative ones in the btc history. In this case, btc is very similar to gold, as for me. Ethereal grow, you know. Gold is still more stable, but you understand the meaning of the comparison.

Ethereum value so far is going up but you can still buy if you want. We don't really know if the upcoming halving has a positive or negative effect on bitcoins value but if you are a risk taker person and you have money to invest,why not try to buy and invest in this two valuable digital currency in crypto space. Investing is still in your hands,so thinks also and do some research to help you understand and decide.

We are still not sure about this, like if the upcoming halving will totally lift the price of bitcoin to the moon again. But of course, we can still buy now and hold it for a better income. Bitcoin and Ethereum are totally good for a long term investment that's why you can't even say that you are late on buying. But, having a chance to buy a bunch of it at a lower price is a very good opportunity. For me, there's no need to choose from both of them if you are capable of investing in those cryptocurrencies but, maybe try to prioritize buying bitcoin because it's most likely to bring more income. And just like what you have said, halving will really give more pump to its price and let's see if this thing will really happen because I'm also expecting it. |

You can buy depending on why you want to do so. Personally I will buy for long term and then I will also scalp. Scalping will give immedite and frequent profit while long can be used to lock big profit.
Actually, I want to buy for a quick profit, i don't have money for long time holding. As you know there is no job right now, so i wanted to invest my savings, so the price jump can give me a good profit within a short time. I think that if you want to make a quick profit, you shouldn't expect too much of an event, the effect of which can take a long time to impact the market. At the same time making a quick profit also means high risk. |

I do not think that you are late with the purchase of Bitcoin and Ethereum. Given the upcoming halving of the first coin and the transition of the other to the stake-mining algorithm, these coins have prospects for rising in price. But you need to comply with money management and diversify your risks. |

I don't think it's too late, so it can be said that still possible to make a good profit. I think , there is a good chance that Bitcoin price will go to at least 9k marks. If bitcoin price goes above 9k then Ethereum price will go for at least 300$. So I think it shouldn't be too late if you want to make a good profit.

Moreover if you choose long term investment then you can buy bitcoin or ethereum in any prices. Also there is an event that I think will give a good thing for the market.
