I have been a KuCoin user for a long time and I'm wondering what do you guys think about their marketing activities and partnerships.

Lately, they have partnered up with pretty unknown projects such as Onchain Custodian, Newscrypto, Banxa..

Any idea what's the point behind this?

When the time that I was venturing into the crypto-space the first cryptocurrency exchange that I used is Kucoin. During that time I was participated at an ICO project and later on it was listed on Kucoin exchange and I find Kucoin was friendly, reliable and safe but not as popular and big like Binance. But still, it has a large volume of traders. My opinion about those new partnerships is simple it's not bad at all even those platforms are not popular as long as it was legitimate I think it is not a problem. Kucoin should avoid those "unclear partnerships" to prevent the same incident as the Kucoin Play misunderstanding.

I just take this news as an example of how the partnership that created between kucoin and cryptohopper will be going on.

This partnership has been running for this reason and i just mentioned the statement that already on that article

I agree with you, it is not that big, however i think that their technology is better than Binance's. Also, they dont pull sh*t, that CZ does.. he is probably the reason why i dont use binance.

You have a point. Kucoin as another reputable exchange, they won't put their reputation at risk by promoting projects they know that can't pass their standards. But this doesn't mean that you should fully rely to their judgment because this is still depending on the project's aim, goal, and progress. And as for the progress, you will never know how they will work on it unless the devs are dedicated to it.

Marketing activities and partnerships are random activities that many exchange platform does. They all wanna expand their horizon and I do not think there is anything to be worried about. Let us hope they do their background check on any project before partnership so that they do not attract bad ones that might paint the platform black. I like Kucoin. It is my second best exchange after Binance

Once investors knew about this, they suddenly jump in buying shares of those companies.
Popularity is a huge thing nowadays.
Even if the price is not right as long as they could get it back after the partnership then it will be settled in an instant.

Kucoin is really a very good exchange that has not added scam projects yet. maybe I'm wrong but I don’t remember such problems. I am sure that they have an excellent analyst department that selects projects and makes a very strong analysis

They have a reputation to protect so they will only partner to reputable project, they are known to create partnership although there are that fizzle out, but they are quick to correct it to their traders and supporters, I expect this  to sustain their reputation with this partnership.

Innovative partnerships has always been a push up for projects since i entered this space. Those projects kucoin partnered with might be relatively new ones or rather, they don't have much hype but i think they're worth since I've known kucoin to be among trusted exchanges with good trading volumes and liquidity, even tge project that do get listed on kucoin always seems to be good ones

In my opinion kucoin also a great exchange. In that case i don't think it's a big deal. Now days those projects are doing great who run their ieo in top quality exchanges or listed their coin top quality exchanges like binacne or kucoin. So for project success they just try to list a big exchange. And big exchange like kucoin i think they have many terms and conditions to add a new project. They don't wanna down their reputation for listing some useless project i guess.

I do not use Kucoin exchange, so I will not give too many reviews about this exchange. But for partnerships, they need to have large partners to increase the reputation of the exchange. Kucoin is one of the leading exchanges in this market so I believe their partners are also reputable partners in this market.

he was actually expecting a rise in token prices considering the multiple partnerships but if that's not enough FA to move the token price , its simply because the partners are pretty much unknown in the crypto world. But that not withstanding, kucoin is a fantastic exchange and among my top 5 best

I have been using Kucoin exchange for 2 years and they are better than many top exchanges! But honestly speaking, I don't like their marketing strategy. All these partners are not known enough, I only remember the Newscrypto name, it’s not that good project to be partnered, there was hype for Newscrypto coin, which is gone now! Kucoin announced 1 million USD giveaway but they deceived everyone by implementing some shitty rules at the end of the campaign, so, their Kucoin play idea dead there! So, even I like this exchange but I hate their marketing strategy and I don't like their partnership with some unknown projects!

They need popular partnership than all these unpopular partnerships. nobody knows these people and even if they are known, it would be a minority. So it is of no use. Kucoin has been maintaining a good record right from those days and I wish someone could just tell them to be careful.
Any partnership that will not bring in more investors or that will not awaken the interest of existing ones, should be avoided at all cost.
