People don't want to give projects some time to grow, they forget that coins like dash, litecoin, Xmr, Bitcoin etc have a rough start, I'm just saying crypto investment takes years, just because a project drop in value doesn't mean they won't grow better in future.

Projects don't just turn huge in a year, there will be lots of volatility and price loss, for long term hold be prepared, if you can't then go for top coins
It's not true. Some investments didn't even need years to reach success. Binance is one of the projects that was doing a very good performance and it has become a major crypto in less than 7 months. There are some reasons why the value of crypto was getting dropped and one of these reasons is the project will be successful in a short time if that was created by a good team.
The community is also playing a big role in this case.

It's not about the project takes years to be a successful project but there were a lot of fundamental things that also affected the success of the project.

just make sure to invest on a legit project and not on new coins that just pop up like mushroom saying the price will be like bitcoin, making investment on top 10 coins will make you eliminate losses, but sometimes we can't predict it, at the same time its like gambling, some will win and some will not, because everyone knows crypto currency is so volatile.
at least if the investment in the top 10 coins will reduce the losses incurred later, rather than investing in new coins because new coins are always changing fast and difficult to predict and the price of new coins does not last long if their projects do not develop and are not in accordance with the road map

I wouldn't generalize. There's always a lot of people who believe in projects. If they wouldn't you wouldn't see so many Bitcoin whales and young millionaires.

People always can be divided into 2 groups. The first one is the small group of believers and investors. Those people are the ones to tell stories about how they made their first million or about how they lost it by being hacked or gambling it away. Whatever happens they are those interesting types.

The second group is the majority of non-believers who are always negative and never make money which makes them even more angry and negatrive. Don't worry about them. Most people in the world are poor. That's a fact!

the success of a project is not just about time but how the team and dev advance the project, because projects that are too long will continue to lag behind competitors.
keep in mind so many altcoins today if you can't show the existence in the market it's hard to get the attention of investors.

I know we should give projects some time to develop. Developing a project is not really easy, but in the current market there are many bullshit projects. They have existed for 1-2 years but still do not have any MVP. Obviously they are just scam projects and exit scam after completing the ICO or IEO

The only project that should be given time for price growth are the ones in active development and offering real time usage and contribution to the ecosystem and not the one that HYIP their project and rely on celebrities to pump their coin in the market.

Your over reacting as you mentioned the longest bear market. Yes that's true, not all project is very fortunate to have funds to continue their development hence some resort to generate funds through ICO/IEO. The problem here are the developers that working actually on the product or platform. If they are real and really working on it behind the scene. Many ICO projects before has become scam and just exited together with the money of the investors. I know this sound negative, but dont ever invest for new project for a long a run, just use IEO and earn the profits and all in on major project only such as btc, eth avoid all new ones cause chance of being a shitcoin is above 90%.

There must be an exact date about when the project will release the product. Mostly of projects were delaying their product and it makes a lot of investors feel disappointed.
A few months are enough to develop a product and it should not be more than that. You're right about to give at least the more times but no more than a year without even a product.

My own part of the story is crypto success takes dedication and hard work of the team, not time, a useless project won't do anything in time but lost in time, real use cases are what makes crypto project worth investing on

Projects have given time to themselves. And if they don't follow the roadmap correctly, I think those are bad and bad projects. I have seen a lot of projects that are behind schedule and until the end they became scams

Its always going to need time but while trading is going on, you may wanna try trading because tokens need to be in the rightful owner who really believes in the project. If you see the project does have good volume, it would mean the project does have good community support that you might consider holding for a long time.

Sometimes the delay of the execution of their project is reasonable especially if real crisis happen or if they failed in the beginning. I know they should strictly follow the roadmap but sometimes they also some reason that we should consider but it's really affected on how investors will see their project.
Time is very important as well as patience. In the other hand, if they take a lot of time to improve their project they must at least report to their investors the process and give them real updates.

People who want to get rich fast on crypto market actually he/she have gambler mentality. usually, they heard about someone who success turn little amount of money into millionaire just for holding coin. To be honest, crypto industry isn't for them because its take long study to learn it, better if they try to build start-up company or business.

There will be challenges, there will be delays but if a project is not good enough there won't be any difference after past years, it will be all in vain for the waiting period, only wait for projects that have great potential and you won't regret

It's different now.
Bitcoin started with nothing.
This new altcoins or ICO created coins have a good background already since there is a root for everything.
It should be easier to make it valuable by making efforts to market it. Also, an honest goal should be there.

But look at what we are experiencing, full of scams which makes the investors go away.
So, everything should be done in fast pace by now and not letting investors walk away in a little amount of time.
The competition is too high to make it longer, soon they will switch to something else.

As long as the goals and development of the project are clear, I don't think it will be a problem if it has to take a long time. Most important, all of them can be mutually committed from both the developer and the investor with the goals to be achieved (Road Map).

Agree, it takes time for a project to be known to investors and have products that can be used. Cryptocurrency is a new market and needs time to develop and I think if we invest in the right project, we will get a big profit.

What about those projects which got listed then trade a few days and the price becomes worthless with the team doing nothing to assure the community all will be well, or continuing their development to attract more users, in this case who is to blame? I have seen a project which raised a good amount of money got listed on exchange, couldn't trade up to a month and the price went really down, after a while the team layed off their staffs with the reason that, there is no more money; what happened to the money generated? These are cases we meet every now and then, thus when people make certain decisions about their crypto investments in most projects, they are not to be blamed.
On the other hand, if one comes across a good project doing all it can to grow, their community will know and support them, there are also many projects like that today.
