UPDATE 02/05/2020:
We can see the instagram of the person and the comments on the new videos, looks like they hacked and the person got the channel back.

The channel is trying to impersonate as a official Ethereum Channel, and They are doing some livestream with a video of Vitalik Butterin including the classic message "send me 10$ and you will get 20$" how many people fall into that already.

Ethereum News Youtube Channel - More than 200000 Subscriber into that account and looks like monetization is active too.

https://www.youtube.com/user/34516331

One of the videos:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CI2WH0ntlrk

More than 30k of views in that video!

Here is a screenshot of one video:

The link in the description also leads to a phishing website, stay alert!

Looks like these are hacked youtube accounts. The group behind these hacks is using this tactic, hacking the account, changing the names to something like Ripple, or Tesla and they promote a fake giveaway.
Stay Alert!

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Looks like these are hacked youtube accounts. The group behind these hacks is using this tactic, hacking the account, changing the names to something like Ripple, or Tesla and they promote a fake giveaway.

These giveaway scammers are still using this technique to scam. Earlier, they also hacked popular YouTube channels and uploaded such giveaway videos. So that a huge amount of people can be scammed. The more subscribers you see, the more people will trust them and they will be able to scam more people. Since the subscriber to this channel is 200k+ so it looks like it is a hacked channel. This is a fake channel they change this channel's original name. Warn everyone, you have done a good job OP.

I have noticed this scam channel right after google recomending me the video to watch, I don't believe when I saw it, big channel and thousands of views, I've already reported it, Youtube delete some legit channels related to Crypto and a clearly Scam is still available there, sad.

Reporting it as spam by more users would eventually make YouTube take down that video's from that channel and lock the user account.

Yeah. It is unfortunate that the crypto community is facing various problems due to these scammers. Now the amount of YouTube channel hacking has increased so everyone should be careful from such scams. I think youtube should take action on such channels without deleting the YouTube crypto related trusted channels.

Just now reported it. I have seen many more SCAM feeds suddenly going live on YouTube. I have been reporting almost all of them and I am planning to create a topic related to such scam. This has to be stopped innocent people are losing money and cryptocurrency community is getting a bad name because of these scammers.

I just checked here that the channel is legitimate, it seems that the channel was even hacked, I can see the instagram of the person and the comments on the new videos, looks like they hacked and the person got the channel back..

Regarding this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CI2WH0ntlrk

It has been taken down already, which is a good news to us. However, there are literally thousands of hack accounts there, so just be careful. Again, if we see those kind of fake giveaways, we should report it right away. I have reported several channels already, and in my one little way, trying to clear crypto-sphere with this criminals.
