Hello I'm new here
I have a few questions regarding a project idea that I have, I understand nothing about development neither coding

I would like to create a website with football stats, more specifically The corners Stats (For example team A on the last 10 games have a media of 5 corners per game)
All the information would come from this website https://www.flashscore.com/ ( Flashscore.com)

So my questions are
How should I try to find someone that can do it? How can I explain it to him ? Since I don't know what type of code language
And since I'm completely new to this type of service, how much could it cost?

Would really appreciate some feedback and answers

Today I'm looking for a developer and maybe it sounds funny from me to answer you. Seems you are looking to get data from them on your website, from A to B. This is done when provider has api and you have access on this API, if there is no such thing then you need website scraper. I guess you need to know Python to write scrapper script (you can google it) or hire someone who will do that for you.
So to sum up, explain them that you want some of their data to be stored on your website, to say differently, you are looking for someone who will write scraper script for you.

For what I read, they have in fact a public API (i would assume is this right?) https://github.com/moadh/FlashScore/tree/master/FlashScore.API
So should be easier since they have a public API

In terms of budget, I Know that can depend on a lot of factors, could you maybe tell me some values? Just don't want to make a ridiculous offer (since I have no idea how much can cost)

You make a service request, meaning a post. What you've done here is already a start.

You have to give out some info about where you want to host this.
Based on that the language(s) to be uses have to be discussed, depending also on what the dev knows.

How to explain? The best rule is "use as many words as you can and explain what you want to obtain from your point of view".
You already started this. The example you gave is a good start.

The cost depends on how much you are willing to pay and how much the devs are asking. Some work cheaper, some more expensive. If it's your first project, let them ask and see if you find that OK or too expensive.


Also some may make a nicer or a very basic UI. This has to be specified because it means work, costs, skill.

So i can see your goal is to create a Football stats API.
 The first thing about stats is data
 The second thing is about type of data, Live or Delayed.
 If you choose a live data, then you need to look for Football API providers, there are many of them.. Just a do a google search. it may be paid. But the data is trusted & frequent.
 If you choose delayed, the same guys might provide with some restriction & limited teams.

Another thing is you are looking for a coder & how to explain things to him., You can find many coders here as well. it is pretty easy to explain coder by giving them a sample or reference website. Since most coders understand english, it wont be much issue. Also regarding language GOLANG is better suited for this type of website, you can manage both front end & BACK end as well.. but if its harder, try PHP most of the requirement will be filled with simplicity & cost effective...
