Asus 280x DCU2 Top mostly giving HW [HELP!]

Hello guys

currently using sgminer and am getting HW when I overclock my Asus 280x DCU 2 Top (R9280X-DC2T-3GD5) even when the overclock is as small as 10mhz overclock or downclock. Leaving it on Stock settings doesn't seem to give HW, but overclocking from 1070 to 1080 or to 1060 gives HW. I also used settings people recommended like:

core:1050
Mem:1600
Khash:660

and

Core:1140
Mem:1800
Khash:750

Please help, leaving it at stock gives 550khash/sec and that just wrong that slower my reference 7950.

Questions: 1-Will leaving it where it gets 115 Hw per 12 hrs result in vga going down in a flaming inferno or does that mean I'll have a high rejection rate?
               2-Has anyone had this problem and found the solution?
