Merit Sources are not confined to a specific board, so any board may be merited as a result of their forum surfing interests/habits.
Local boards are pretty heterogeneous:
- A few have a large amount of awarded sMerits, but also many posters.
- Others have a reasonable amount of sMerits for the amount of posters, and the better posters are normally spotted there.
- About half of the local boards are pretty inactive, and lack a Merit Source acting there.
Normally if a board (any) is considered undermerited, the best way to draw attention to it would be to report some details specifics in a thread (such as this one). By specifics I mean something in the line of:
a) Providing some numbers on the number of posts (quantitative).
b) Providing some numbers on the number of merits awarded there (quantitative).
c) Providing a "lengthly" list of posts that are unmerited/undermerited there (subjective quality).
The former two can be derived in multiple ways (for example using the
Merit Dashboard). The latter requires more time to compile, but with the above you can make a concrete case that draws attention to the situation with specifics.
