I think not all, some promotions use email. With content that is truly responsible. The email that you send in spam is caused by the IP Address of your email server that does not have a good reputation or may have entered the spam blacklist so that the email you send will always enter the spam folder.

If you are looking for a good guide in email marketing there are lots of good tutorials on youtube, and it's very easy to learn this you just need time to see the basics, If you want to start now on email marketing you can try MailChimp they have 2000 mail for free subscription per month to get you started. I have tried this platform and its very good in my experience you can see your mail if it's opened, click or not and also you will see people who will unsubscribe in your mailing list. You will only be spam if you don't put a receiving mail on MailChimp so it's better to ready you're receiving email (this mail is for people who want to contact you) I hope this will help you to get you started on your journey to be a great email marketing 😉

There is no confusion at all, because all the emails with huge amount of receipients will directly goes into the spam box of every emails.So it is nothing effective at all.I doubt that anyone still believes on email marketing strategies when people keep finding new ways to promote their projects to great audiences.

It's illegal, in case what people are saying above hasn't homed in to you.

These days, for email collection, you must have a complete GDPR compliance (read it up) and that means individual consent for every one of those 100k must be obtained. Specifically for every person you sell it to!
