I have been a user of Brave ever since I discovered the fact that it blocks ads and you could choose which to reward to and for me, that's a game-changer for the browser platform. Additionally, it's a cryptocurrency-friendly browser so that's another plus on my part. Anyways, I have recently read the news about them having a widget with Binance.

So instead of visiting their website, it's already integrated into the browser. You won't have to continuously login etc. Which is a good convenience of mine especially if I'm the one and the only person using the computer. If you are doing this with a shared PC, I don't recommend it to be used.

It's pretty safe to say, this is a positive step towards cryptocurrencies in general.

Nice effort from Brave to add some value to its token. However I doubt that the risks outweigh the convenience it can bring. Put aside all of the information relating to your account (attached to Brave KYC identity if you already KYC), the widget's "stay logged-in" feature put your account in danger if your kid, wife or any other person that is unfamiliar with cryptocurrency touches your computer. I'd rather stick with Firefox than moving to Brave for this widget.

Good marketing strategy from Binance by getting their widget integrated with Brave browser. I am thinking how much did they pay Brave browser and how will the commission be calculated.

As per my understanding the widget service was present for website owners, where in they were paying a good commission. Are they paying the same to Brave or something different.

CZ will love it.
Now Brave doesn't just know your name but your browsing habits and the money you got from binance. I haven't use brave browser but its definitely not a good browser when it asks for your KYC. It's the first reason why we try avoiding google chrome and its search engine but we tend to look away from them and turn to the other who still does the same collect our data.

Brave only does the best it can for its customers when using their services. When the market is volatile, you just want to go into your account and trade quickly so you don't have to miss the opportunity. I used to use Brave for a while and it is very convenient, fast experience and does not consume too much RAM. That's what I like best about Brave and when I use it I still earn money every month. So why don't we try and develop it like Google or Firefox? Brave deserves what they are trying.

I did not yet try brave browser but I have heard a lot about it. Also, I am a regular binance trader and recently by updating my app I saw a new banner in my homepage saying the same. This would be actually a lot easier for binance traders who those who prefer mobile view but for desktop mode, I'll still prefer binance web application or desktop site because it stays most beneficial for me.

I also heard that brave browser distributes BAT to the users browing onto the browser. Is it true? I'll surely try brave browser for trading on binance widget.

Another most important point which attracted me is about blocking ads permanently. This would really be a game changer.

Aspiring entrepreneur.

Good marketing strategy from Binance by getting their widget integrated with Brave browser. I am thinking how much did they pay Brave browser and how will the commission be calculated.
I don't think they need to pay anything. Just with Binance itself, Brave is getting a lot of users with that and also BAT is also getting traction because of that.

As per my understanding the widget service was present for website owners, where in they were paying a good commission. Are they paying the same to Brave or something different.
It's not for ads or something. It's for users. The widgets are for the users to use conveniently without having to open the actual website of Binance. It's quite fast as well IMO.

Just like Raytheon, I don't think there's a KYC. I didn't participate in any KYC with Brave. Lol.

This would be actually a lot easier for binance traders who those who prefer mobile view but for desktop mode, I'll still prefer binance web application or desktop site because it stays most beneficial for me.
I still prefer the website itself because there's all the information that I need to trade and know what to do. Plus I need the chart to know what I should do as well. Maybe it's best to have it when you are just trading for certain reasons and just hedging your funds, etc.

I also heard that brave browser distributes BAT to the users browing onto the browser. Is it true? I'll surely try brave browser for trading on binance widget.
It is true. You will be shown a banner or a pop-up where you could visit the ad. You could earn from that as well. It's not big but you could just save it, you know?

Am I the only one who still worries about Binance and Brave's behavior? The two platforms have made a lot of fundamental changes that make you think again.
Brave: Although the primary purpose of its use is to maintain privacy, we are beginning to see that they have requested verification of identity, and recent cooperation with Binance may lead to more sale of identity data or even browsing information since many crypto lovers users use that browser.

The interface design looks attractive and the backgrounds of the main screen are beautiful.

Brave browser broke their slogan by requiring KYCs and now they launched Binance Widget. Please I will never use such widget, not only with Brave browser but with any other browsers.

Being lazy and relying on other tools, widgets put our capital and sensible details under higher risks.

Brave does has KYC option, though it's not mandatory for normal user.

By default, no KYC verification is required to enable and use Brave Rewards. For example, users can enable Brave Ads and earn BAT without KYC verification. They can also enjoy in-platform features, such as BAT tipping, without ever having to KYC. At this time, the only cases in which a user must complete KYC verification are:

Withdrawals: If the user would like to withdraw BAT from the platform (i.e., transfer BAT—such as BAT earned through Brave Ads—to an external Ethereum address).
Depositing funds beyond $1000 USD: If a user would like to fund their Brave Rewards wallet with their own funds (e.g., by credit card, their own external BAT, or with cryptocurrency), no KYC is required by default. However, KYC may be required to add more funds if a user’s lifetime deposits exceed $1000 USD. Below $1000, no KYC is required to add or deposit external funds.

Am I the only one who still worries about Binance and Brave's behavior? The two platforms have made a lot of fundamental changes that make you think again.
No, you're not the only one. The Breaking Bad tought me that there are many things in life initially intended for good purposes but then under some circumstances or for any reasons, they're gone bad. Talking about Binance once delisted BCH SV on CZ's aggression (it's a shitcoin, but Binance keeps listing a lot of shittier coins). Recently, they even bought out Coinmarketcap and support Justin Sun on accquiring Steemit. Clearly the decentralizaion spirit of cryptocurrency are being violated by those giant entities.

Widgets and extentions get exploited all the time. Be cautious when you use this. I recommend to avoid any built-in crypto wallets or crypto widgets in web browsers at all cost.

I think they're doing this (adding a binance widget) because: 1) they failed to attract the niche market of privacy users,  2) they'll attempt to attract another niche market, crypto users.

Am I the only one who still worries about Binance and Brave's behavior?
As long as you don't opt-in on the BAT reward or don't use this widget, you should be "ok" in terms of privacy. But I still wouldn't recommend Brave to people concerned about their privacy (it's at the bottom of my privacy focused web browsers list).

We have already uncovered the real face of Binance when they use the votes in steemit and thier crappy DEX that just make it worse than the regular CEX. They've been hurrying to gather our data, I suppose the only lacking in thier network now is the card which is now in the process.

If this brave browser is going to be used by the mass because its promoted here, binance will soon be a monster bigger than google. Right now they haven't offer to buy that brave browser yet but soon, it will be theirs.

Last year they integrated BAT and now this binance widget, I guess brave is the most crypto friendly browser that exist now. I am just curious if the convertion rates is base on spot trading, futures or overall average. It is very convenient for brave users it is a great feature added. I am just curious if this is a partnership or binance is planning to acquire brave in the future? My internet is not that fast, I feel chrome is much faster a bit, so I stick on chrome at the moment but I am planning to shift to brave in the future.

I wont be surprised if Binance would consider out on buying Brave sooner or later yet we know that majority of crypto users or privacy concerned fellas do make use of this browser.

About the widget then i do really love that they added up this one and this one really makes more convenient on checking out everything without really the need on doing alt tabs.  Grin

What would be their next move? what yah think?
