Hi All,

Let me give a brief introduction about myself first.

My name is Vikram and I have been involved in Cryptocurrency for a while now. Actually I have been on and off on this amazing digital mode of payment, as I was not sure if this would survive this long.

I got on to this as early as 2013. I once owned almost 12 BTC and lost everything in gambling (Satoshi Mines Smiley). But never repented as I frankly took Bitcoin to be a bubble and thought it wouldn't last long.

But I was always fascinated by Blockchain technology. Though I had a regular job in the finance sector for almost 8 years, I was intrigued by the new projects that were coming up in the Blockchain field. I was also an investor in some of the scam ICO's and lost huge. Last of my investment was in Scam coin Rimbit.

I always wanted to do something in this field. Now I quit my job a year ago and have been working on a few things. For the past few years have been working on protoblockchain, a pet project to bring a platform that provides certification courses on Blockchain and related technologies. This will be going live in the month of July 2020 as we are awaiting approvals for online certification from few universities.

About Investment requirement:

So now coming to the investment opportunity I am looking for, it is for the other project that i have pinned all my hopes on.
"Mediport", a blockchain-based health care app.

What is Unique about it?

There have been quite a few EMR (Electronic Medical Records) ICO's from 2018, but only two or three went ahead and had an actual platform. Now we are building an end to end application on blockchain for the health care sector in India. (This is only for the Indian market).

With over 130 Billion population and no uniform EMR system place, we feel it is a great time to bring out a Blockchain-based application.

Please note this will be free to use the platform. The source of revenue for us is through advertising, requests for specific report generation, and insurance policy renewals.

This will be a huge step forward in the countries healthcare reform.

What I am looking for?

We are looking for a very minimal investment of  1 BTC or 40 Ether to bring the beta version for the ICO.  Those willing to invest will get a good chunk of PORT tokens as per our agreement.

PORTOCOIN: Is our token and Symbol is PORT. With a supply of 800 Million Tokens.

What will this be used for?

This will be used to bring the Beta version within 30 days and get ready for our ICO. And also we have finalized a deal with two exchanges to list our token during ICO.

We have approached many health care centers and doctors with our idea and most of them have shown interest and are keen to try our beta platform, and they have been following up with us for an update. We need to bring the beta version ASAP.

Frankly, I am running short on funds due to the current lockdown situation. I need to manage my regular income stream and I will not be able to invest any further on this.

How do you plan on gaining informed consent from 1.3 billion people to have their medical information stored on your platform?

Given that the average patient generates approximately 80 megabytes of data per year in terms of imaging and other EMR data, that equates to 104 million gigabytes of data per year. How can you possibly sync that via a blockchain? How are you going to pay for such huge amounts of storage and bandwidth?

Thanks for your questions, please bear with me for this elaborate answer.

1. Getting consent of 1.3 billion population is a herculean task and next to impossible. This is only possible with government intervention.

I don't intend to reach out to 1.3 billion at a time. This will happen in a phased manner.

The first stage is Beta version trails. This will be done by 16 Hospitals and 137 doctors from whom we already have a consent. Our aim is to take it to 100 Health centers and 1000 doctors by Nov 2020 (Approx 300000 to 400000 patients). This is a realistic target and is very much achievable.

{In India we have Hospitals both Government and Private, Small Health care centers, and Local Clinics. Most of the people usually go to their Local Clinics. And if the doctor over there is using a particular app, all the patients visiting him/her will oblige. So our target is to get the health care providers to use our app.}

2. Once you reach this target of 400000 patients it will be easy for us to reach out to the government and request them to adopt it across the country free of cost. We have already made a presentation to concerned authorities, but we need to prove that our security is top-notch and also present the beta version results.

Why will the government go for MEDIPORT,?

a). Indian government has been trying to bring in health reforms for the betterment of healthcare, this would a big step forward in that endeavor.

b). Free of cost application and user friendly: Almost all the projects that go for government approvals have an initial expense to implement. This is where red-tapism comes into play. We have our product ready to use and completely free of cost.

c). The government has been trying to bring insurance coverage for the entire population, this is not happening due to various factors. I can elaborate more but to cut it short just as you mentioned, the government is in a dilemma on how to insure 1.3 billion population and which company to go with. We have already been in contact with various insurance providers. Once you have a mass usage of the Mediport app, it becomes easy for Insurance companies to provide proposals, users can choose which is best for them. Government will have a clear understanding of how many are covered. Most of the Health insurance sector will be streamlined. Third-party admins who have been managing the health premium claims can be eliminated.

There are many other reasons why the Government will go with Mediport. An app of this kind is the need of the hour.

4. My first aim is to bring the beta version out.  The more the adaptation grows more the funds are required for maintenance.  As I mentioned in my earlier post, as our product is free of cost, our main source of income would be through advertising, Insurance renewals(This will be a big source of income, I can elaborate at length on this, just for your info only 8 % of the Indian population has health insurance coverage). Once you have government adaptation of the product it will be a public-private partnership.

5. Hyperledger Fabric will be used to secure EMRs. Also scalability is not an issue. We will be using the IBM Blockchain Platform. The backend is on smart contracts.

Please note I am not just looking at the monetary value, yes definitely I intend to make money out of this product, but the main goal is to bring a free of cost application and see to it that it reached the maximum number of people.

I would love to hear on what he would answer towards these questions.We have seen countless stories like this before where newbie accounts do tell out their
plans in mind which they do believe that someone would throw out some btc's for having some wonderful explanation on whats up to their minds without
presenting something like WP or anything that would present out the project but this one? Its nothing!

Even on 10k sats, no one would blindly waste it up to people who are just telling about raising funds by just babbling.

Thanks for the questions I would like to answer the second question first.

1. Firstly please note, in my personal opinion, more the newbies here on this forum the better it is for the crypto universe. I understand the concern that many newbies are indulging in a lot of spam content here, but please do not have a stereotype and classify all newbies into that category.

My sincere request please stop using the term newbie, everybody at a certain stage is new to something. For everything, there is a beginning.

Secondly, I am no newbie, I had an account with my email Id vallurivikram@gmail.com in 2013, but I didn't use it for quite some time it got locked. Any admin here can check. This time around I am going nowhere I am here to stay:)

2.  Yes I do agree there are currently many apps that serve the purpose. But let us discuss on the security aspect of the current medial apps. How secure do you think having a sensitive data like EMR of a patient online?

Now the information on EMR which is shared on a decentralized ledger gives us that security, also ready to be used feature with the necessary permission.

A patient will have complete control of their records and the doctor is given a key to access records.  MedicalChain Is a pioneer and already have a system in place and have partnered with NHS.

Some may say then why do you propose a new project? My answer is if Medicalchain can provide free of cost access to all the users in India I would be very happy to stop my project immediately. I am afraid none of the blockchain-based applications are free. They are charging a hefty fee during the initial implementation itself. In a country like India, this kind of application is the need of the hour.

We all know that Blockchain can supplement the current technologies not replace them completely. (The current popular app in this category, not running on Blockchain in India is 'Practo'. There have been a lot of instances where people have complained about lack of security and fake profiles within this app.)

3. Please note all I am asking is for interested parties to come forward. I am not asking to give me your crypto free of cost just hearing to my side of the story. Once we have individuals interested We discuss in detail via telegram and will share our whitepaper. We will be soon listing for IEO on an exchange. Hopefully its gonna happen this week.

I appreciate the honesty, but acknowledging that you are a former gambler and having more investments that ended up with huge losses does not add credibility to you or the whole project.

90% of users of this forum do not have this "minimal investment", and those who have them will certainly not trade them for some worthless tokens. If you think your project is really worth it, why not ask for it to be funded by your government or local investors with whom you can come face to face and put everything on paper, stamp and sign?

You are newbie, whether or not you have had an account in this forum in the past. If the account is locked for some reason, there is a procedure to unlock and reuse it again (check Meta board for that).

Deal with it even you do say that your already old and experience and really passionate on what you are trying to do but you cant
really changed up peoples mind on here just like on what i have said earlier that even a small amount, people wont tend to throw it
out easily. You wont really get any support and thats a sure thing.

The fact that someone has done bad things in the past or has had bad judgments regarding business decisions does not necessarily mean that the person is bad nowadays. But from the perspective of any investor in your project, such a past is not something that will motivate someone to invest even in project with good aim. Many in this forum have pretty much burned themselves by investing in similar projects through the ICO, and would rather keep their BTC/ETH in their wallets than invest them in tokens.

Yeah, that is seriously just words all over here. I mean since the time the thread is started there is no mention of documents, some project work, or even screenshot of dummy app so that everyone can trust this thing.  

I mean just introducing myself to the world doesn't mean I am the honest one and expect them to throw BTC my way. Never!

May be you should start working at your end first, create a credibility by showing some proof of work. Your team, your office, your blue prints per se and almost everything or anything that can increase the trust on this project.

Because, what you started with an idea literally ended up in fight over your newbie and old account.

I assure you that you cannot get the sort of support and investment you're looking for on this forum because people here have seen all sorts of projects become exit scams. Not even iif you have more credible evidences such as a Github page would you be able to convince anyone. I'll say you're a tad late. If it were in 2017 when the outlook were upbeat, you'd get a lot of investors willing to throw in some funds even without ironclad proof that you know what you're doing, but these days...just forget it. You're wasting your time. Anyone can make the claims you're making here just to steal from people. As someone already suggested, if you think it's worth it, talk to investors in your community. It's safer for everyone that way.

I was led here because of the awesome title, only to find out another newbie offering something that we already have and asking for fortunately 1 Bitcoin only, in the past newbies are asking for million to set up a platform which will just a copy-paste of a failed project.
