Hey there, we are Payd. What is Payd? Payd is a completely new mobile social network where you can build your own community, post texts, images and videos and get paid for it. Isn't that cool? You can submit posts into so called "channels" where other people can read your posts. Joining your favorite channels will create a personalized feed of content like fun stories, sports talk, games, viral pics, top memes, and videos. Or just browse Payd and get lost in what other people are talking about! You also earn virtual points called "votes" when other people upvote your content. People with a high number of votes are shown on the leaderboard! Our referral system is fairly simple, you just need to tell your friends your Username and they get $0.50 extra, plus you receive 5% of all the revenue they generate. Withdrawals are currently available for BTCitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Monero and PayPal. If you are interested or have any questions, you can simply go to https://payd.network. In case you couldn’t find the right answer or you’ve got any suggestions for improvement, feel free to send us an e-mail to support@payd.network. Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=network.payd.appbest regards, Payd-Team

Its a nice idea on where you would been paid via BTCitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Monero and PayPal.Ive seen similar projects back in the past with this one but all them do failed. Why? because people would still love to stick on with the traditional and more popular platform than on new ones even though we can see some advantages and earning opportunity but people cant just easily ignore or left into the things that theyve been used to but well i can say Goodluck into your project" If you are serious with this one then better allocate some funds on marketing stuff.

I agree on this, marketing stuff is what will get you where you want to go, another one is referral base these two can attract more users to your platform,it's about time we have a big social networking for the Crypto community, we have a lot but it is still cannot get into competition with the big one which is Facebook.

Yes, we are well aware that we need good marketing to onboard users. We are working on it, thanks for your suggestions.

I am more curious about this: You also earn virtual points called "votes" when other people upvote your content. People with a high number of votes are shown on the leaderboard!
Where will you get the money or cryptocurrencies to pay people with the virtual points that they have earned? Would you run an advertisement perhaps? What is the minimum withdrawal? How will you market your social networking site? Also, it is only available on Android phones and I would appreciate if we can download it on App Store or at the very least access it on our desktop browsers but I get it that the project is still at its early stage. As mentioned that there a lot of projects similar to this but all of them failed that's why I want to know about your long term goal and what steps would you do so your project wouldn't end up just like the others.

Reading through your announcement thread I got bored so had to skip some part although reread the thread again just to be sure my observation from the very beginning are correct. You do understand you guys aren't the first project coming up with this idea and the other well established sites offer exactly what you have just introduced to us that your site will be offering. Don't get offended but if I may ask, what makes your site special and different from the others. What do you offer that'll make me patronize or recommend your site to other. Paying out in cryptocurrency isn't new.

Nice idea buddy, but how are you going to convince all of us that the website is legit? Is it really paying? Those are the common questions of people who are going to try new websites because they are afraid to even me to be scammed.
The good thing about that is you accept the payment through the use of PayPal, there are many people who are using the kind of wallet.

It is really good that people can be connected using this mobile social network, everyone can participate when there's a discussion that can make people unite and agree to each other's thoughts. Also you can expressed you thoughts and creativeness using this platform while getting paid. This is a great idea for people who want to have opportunity in earning money while communicating with other people without any hassle. In managing this kind of platform, you should take this seriously so that you will not encounter any hard time or issues in this network and people who have access to it can use it comfortably. The real good thing here is that it is supported by cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, ETH and other coins that can be used on investments.

Are there any advantages to being shown on the leaderboard?
When can I withdraw?
The minimum withdrawal amount is $50. As soon as you reach that you can submit a withdrawal request. I think for a new project that isn't still that popular, having $50 as its "minimum withdrawal amount" is a bit too high for now... - You might want to consider having it at $10 since that's something most users consider to be a reasonable amount.

How will the process of obtaining these "votes" be done, are they virtual, Airdrop or are you planning to sell them in the future? What is the abuse algorithm? Any filters to restrict the content and the management of ads? What are the rules for data protection and will user data be sold? Ask them about checking the identity or placing any restrictions on them?

They only function as an indicator of if people like the content you posted. We have a repost and NSFW filter in place. The only data we collect is IP address and e-mail (if you choose to register, you can also view most content without logging into the app) as stated in our privacy policy.

This is quite interesting. But a lot of sites tell you how you are going to fulfil different tasks and get earnings but they don't really follow through. Now that discourages more people. A referral program will run effectively in bringing about the growth of the app if you stick to your end. And for marketing, go wild. If you are employing social media networkers I'm more than available to render my services.

I agree with @SFR10, $50 just to be able to withdraw? That is too high specially that you are new in the market. And it also depends on how people are going to earn in your platform. So it looks like this is a winnable position to you. Users who get bored and tired and not reaching $50 will simply go away and move to other platform that offer less withdrawal amount. And what happens to their hard work? It's your that are going to win.

You did not answer the question on where the money would be coming from to pay users? The only thing I have seen before is sites similar to this, where you are bombarded with advertisements and people do not like it when they are visiting sites with loads of advertisements. Also, will you be rewarding people for Copyrighted content too? This will get your site closed down very soon, if that happens. You will obviously have to use external storage, because it will not be viable or cost effective to host the content. Good luck with the site, I am curious to know if this one would succeed or not.

The most important question that needs to be answered is whats the minimum withdrawal amount because if its 1 Bitcoin and you are paying a satoshi for each post that is going to take a very long time for someone to be able to withdraw and would not be worth it to most people. What do you do if your site is forced to close in a couple of months time do you keep the money because its below the minimum withdrawal or do you pay your customers anyway? You are going to need a SEO specialist and someone who has connections on forums because going against the giants of Facebook who have top rank on most search engines is not going to be easy to beat. I do not think advertisements are a big problem because if you take Facebook there are a lot of advertisements crammed everywhere and you probably have 3 advertisements on your screen at all times. Copyrighted content would only get the site blacklisted from search engines and if the OP were to receive a DMCA take-down they would just have to remove the copyrighted content. People post lots of copyrighted stuff on Facebook. I agree on this, marketing stuff is what will get you where you want to go, another one is referral base these two can attract more users to your platform,it's about time we have a big social networking for the Crypto community, we have a lot but it is still cannot get into competition with the big one which is Facebook.
Paying with crypto is their marketing they are already paying directly to customers to get them to use their social media in promise for coins. It will probably take months to get anything worth while and at that point the site has earned probably double the amount from advertisements.

I hope this is not another Crypto social site where you need to upgrade to get access to other features of the social site I better be off to free social media sites like Facebook Twitter Instagram and other free and popular social media sites, some of these dedicated Crypto sites has hidden features and they are not telling people that you need to upgrade to access.

Even paid to click sites set the minimum withdrawals at $1. And THEY have a hard time to maintain newcomers who realize you need to click 200 ads or watch 50 videos just to get that minimum. Way too high to keep those people who try it out to get interested. Unless you are able to pay big amounts per action.
