Somehow, I believe LTC can increase, and litecoin can push the price to $80-$100 in the next bull run. But yeah, like the other coins, litecoin now are trying to survive, and still, defend the position at the market besides competing with the other coins. It will increase at the right time, and I already buy some litecoin, but I still want to buy more litecoin when the price is down.
now it's not a competition with other altcoins on the market. all projects will focus on their market. LTC is a good asset to a large market. they are just waiting for the moment of the altcoin market at high pumps. moreover, they have also done halving and I think this is only related to market demand which must be pushed harder.
It still a competition at the market because every coin wants to show its ability to increase the price. And at this time, all of the altcoins still try to do that. Litecoin has a chance to get a high pump at the market, but it needs time before the price can really increase so high, and I am sure many people are still waiting for that.
It is still slow and i do not think the developers are doing anything yet to develop it and bring in more features, just like others are doing.
I do not want want to assume it has been abandoned.
Maybe if it is also halved, we would see an accelerated growth.
That is because the market is not moving fast, so that makes litecoin adjust the movement based on the market moves. If there is a fast movement in the market, it can impact the other altcoin, including litecoin. But I guess that the litecoin project still on development, and we will see something in a short time.
