Hello
I just want to share my experience with Leasehold.io project.
They came to be a total scam based in Africa. I almost got into their trap.
Michael Tomasik who is their team member shared a very contradictory information about their project.
They claim that they are partners with Booking.com which is a total lie! Please message the support or ask anyone from booking.com if they heard of Leasehold project, of course it came to be a total lie. This African scam must be stopped before someone gets burned! Just ignore them and they will probably stop promoting this scam! Guys, make your research before spending your hard earned money into such scams
Good luck all

That's a big warning sign, deception on their partnership, another one is lying that they are going to be listed in a big exchange, so better check all those partnership listed in their home page and verify if all of the partnership are true and they have a written contract, tthey are doing a bounty campaign, so I ask all their participants to check so your effort will not be wasted.

First of all, I would like to point out that the author of this post is doing nothing but making up stories for no apparent reason!

First of all Michael Tomasik did not speak to him, this is the first Lie, Michael Tomasik is our front end Lead developer who has been with the team since Lisk days! so if he would have told this post creator this info, they he would have all the evidence to show, he obviously does not because none of it is true.

Second of All this project came from LISK! with 2 Main Team members who were working with Lisk for 2 years , and decided to come and put all their time and effort into the project just to scam people, yea I dont think so.

lastly Our team has proven our partnership with booking.com and airbnb, if you read our ANN, all info is there.

I find this post absurd and totally false, you cannot make such a bold statement with words only! you did not speak to Michael , and he certainly did not tell you any of those things you are a liar.

We have posted our partnership on our ANN with all our reference numbers, you can call booking.com today and quote those References and they will tell you exactly that we are partnerships. How can you say we are not partners with booking that is the real lie? where did you speak to booking.com and confirm this ?

How would you have any credibility when any investor can pick up the phone, call them and confirm it, if you were a real investor and really serious about the Leasehold , you would have confirmed with booking.com and Airbnb, which you obviously have not and just cry SCAM!

Such poor behaviour

I am sorry but the way you answer to my statement is showing much more to the people who read it.
Let's do the following which is made already ton of times on this forum just to prove you are not a total scam, why don't you make a selfie of your whole team proving you won't  escape with investors money.
The way you attacked me shows too much aggressiveness for a legit business owner, any smart person reding this will see the obvious.

If you want to know if we are a scam or not, you can ask these questions from the beginning , you have come here and accused the project of being a scam with no info other then "you had a conversation with Michael"
your statement about Michael, being a scammer, your exact words are : "Michael Tomasik is scammer"

So I ask you to show this .

I do not know why you answers to my questions with a question. This is obviously avoiding the topic!
If you want to show you are not scam and prove as other legit projects on the forum do , I will ask you again, can you post a selfie of your whole team proving you are real? You can see much examples of that on the forum.

Leasehold CTO here (Jonathan Gros-Dubois). Firstly, Michael Tomasik is our front end lead and does not deal with any operational part of the business so he would not know anything or be qualified to make any statements about our partnerships. See https://leasehold.io/team/

In my experience so far, Michael has been a reliable, honest, hard-working guy as many past colleagues from LiskHQ (Lightcurve) would also testify.
For someone to anonymously pick on him and attack him in this way to try to damage Leasehold's reputation is not only cruel, it's cowardly.

If anyone doubts our intentions, please consider the fact that both Reo (CEO) and me (CTO) have a history of long term participation on the Lisk project and are both currently Forging Delegates on Lisk.
Before and throughout my time at Lisk, I've been an open source developer (for almost a decade); see https://github.com/SocketCluster/socketcluster/graphs/contributors

My project SocketCluster is used by hundreds or possibly thousands of companies around the world and forms the core P2P layer of both Lisk and Ark blockchains.
Very few projects have such a track record of reliability and trustworthiness as Leasehold.

Hello,
Several questions appear after looking into this project:
If it is so, why dont you guys show a selfie of you as the OP requested?
Why you are speaking of the name of your front end developer and not he explain personally?
Why dont you pass a simple KYC to verify your team members in front of the everyone? There are plenty of websites where you can do that.

What OP is saying is an outright lie which can easily be verified from our website: https://leasehold.io/team/
However, note that our website is not currently accessible within the US due to uncertainty around securities regulations and we are not currently allowing unaccredited US investors to participate in our ITO.

Also note that both Michael and myself do have profile photos on our GitHub profiles with a clear proven contribution history on the Lisk project.
See Lisk contributors, directly under the main LiskHQ code repository:

michaeltomasik: https://github.com/LiskHQ/lisk-desktop/graphs/contributors
jondubois: https://github.com/LiskHQ/lisk-sdk/graphs/contributors

As you can see, we do have profile photos of ourselves on the website and online - and we are not hiding behind anonymous identities as claimed by the original poster (who themselves are anonymous).
We are a decentralized, remote team and we do meet over voice and video chat. Anyone is welcome to message us on any of our channels and talk to us.

We are fully open to scrutiny and so far have even been open to meet investors in person or video or voice chat.

Clearly your account was also just recently created.
Thanks for letting me and everyone else know that you cannot be trusted (by your own admission).

BTW, anyone who cannot see that logic, we would not want as investors anyway.

I'm glad that developers are addressing this issue, it's now up to investors and supporters to appreciate what are coming on both sides so far things are getting clear, if the accusations cannot hold on then it's better for OP to close the thread and if he has additional proof then better bring it here.

How can you say we are not partners with booking that is the real lie? where did you speak to booking.com and confirm this ?

Hahahhahaha
You are partners with booking?

And this is your proof?

For Partnership with Booking.com see

If you have further Doubts you can call booking.com and quote these ref numbers and invoice numbers and you can validate further.

Your partnership is listing one enormous gigantesque property:

Quote
26 Settler Sands Beach Cottage with Sea View has accommodations with a terrace and an electric tea pot, around a few steps from Port Alfred West Beach. This beachfront property has a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi.
The apartment comes with 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, and a patio with garden views

 Grin Grin Grin Grin

This is your partnership?
And a credit note for 25$?

Hope the Admin can close this thread now.

Nope, it doesn't work like this!
Scam accusations topics don't get closed down by the admin or the mods just because you start crying.
