From that's link I got many pictures about CE, FDA, and many other packaging from this mask. But I want to show FDA certificate and the packaging only

 

According to this FDA certificate, the face mask Product Code:     QKR with Device Class:   Not Classified

From what I search about the QKR code, it means any face masks with QKR code is Non-Surgical Masks and can't prevent from disease. And only face mask with Product code FXX, MSH, OUK, OXZ with Device class: 2 is recommended and prevent from covid-19 spread

Non-Surgical Masks: Non-surgical face masks not intended for the prevention of disease are NOT regulated by the FDA (FDA Product Code QKR). The FDA has issued guidance that allows enforcement discretion (e.g. not explicitly regulated) for non-surgical face masks intended to be worn by the general public or healthcare personnel.  In an ideal world, we would test samples from batches of non-surgical masks – BUT, something is better than nothing and the public/staff can wear homemade non-surgical masks outside of isolation areas if permitted by hospital policy. Thank you for letting me me know about this info.
It's mistaken for surgical mask.
But this kind of masks still better than many unwell know brands from China.
I could connect with new source with surgical mask and FDA Approved if you prefer.

There are some discrepancies between local classification and FDA's definition about "surgical mask". As far as I'm concerned, masks with 3-4 layers, one of which is bacterial filtered are generally called "surgical mask". Many products among them fit the discription of FDA product coded QKR - "non-surgical mask".

Besides, in Vietnam, the medical authorities always said that "wearing masks help reduce the spread of the disease" and people have to wearing a mask in public places during critical phase of Covid-19 pandemic. That's may explain why the manufacturer wrote "prevent penetrating from virus" on the package. In this case, I think both Nam Anh Equipment Trading Production Co., Ltd and coin163 did not fully understand FDA's classification and caused the confusion.

There are many reports of Chinese N95 masks being imported into the US that do not filter 95% of particles (as is required to be a *N95* mask) or are otherwise defective.

There is also a lot of suppliers of medical suppliers who have popped up recently that have shown themselves to be unreliable, at best.

I would strongly recommend against buying from anyone selling masks, medical supplies, or anything coronavirus related on this forum.

Seen this one on the Meta board topic https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5245620.0 I think it's really better to avoid those sellers in this forum and instead buy surgical or non-surgical masks on trusted suppliers.

They keep you from spreading what you have into the air so much..

I had some FFP2 M3s laying around from the time before the virus and when I was painting my gear. Now only 3 unused left.. Those are the best you can use to protect you from inhaling the shitty virus but again, your eyes are unprotected, then no matter the mask you are still unprotected. Unfortunately, the only true protection seems to be a biohaz costume.

I would say it's maybe even better than the majority of the surgical masks. Usually, they have 3 layers of protection and this one has 4.
If it really filters 98% of the bacteria (which is more than usual, that's the equivalent of FFP2-3 masks except you can't put it on as FFP.

For anyone interested to buy some masks FFP2 outside of this forum, you can find many on Gearbest, Aliexpress. I ordered some from Germany
The shops are not allowed to sell masks in my country... Better I tell you it's funny getting sex with FFP2

From what I have been told by some one who I know personally who specializes in studying pathogens, the only mask that will prevent viruses from penetrating is an N95 + FFP2 or FFP3 grade mask. N95 is not enough. A large number of KN95 masks are also fakes.
