As long as you have never joined any giveaway or raffle then receiving such winning emails or message doesn't really make sense. That's how they make the victims feel excited of receiving such amount.
But in the end of it, they will require you to deposit or replenish and that's the actual scam that they do.

I also received this kind of messages in Discord and Telegram, even i never joined any raffles and giveaways in the things that they mentioned. I think most crypto users experienced this kind of  messaging scam scheme in some of their messaging app that they used in crypto purposes.

Scammers are more active now. They are busy coming up with different ideas. Because they can show as much greed to people, more they can scam. This type of message received daily by most people who are involved with crypto. You should not receive this message if you have not joined their giveaway. Everyone should be stay away from this kind of giveaway, because scammers try to come up with new ideas everyday.

To be honest, Discord is now full of scammers. For that reason, I am less active in discord. I have also faced this type of annoying message from unknown members several times in the past. So always make sure to check the official announcement and You have messaged from an official member. Or just skip it.

Its quite hard to find a platform where you will not get this scammers invitations. Discord has been relatively crowded with this kinda traps now. From my personal experience i can say that telegram and gmail is the most popular platform for them where i receive tons of email on my spam folder.

Due to some dishonest platform owners this scammers are getting users database easily and planting their scam seeds by sending thousands of emails at a time. I believe who have minimum Knowledge about crypto will not put their step on these money stealing trap but not sure about newbies. Specially who are completely new and have little knowledge about crypto related investment and scams. Every single day we are getting new messages on our inbox with unrealistic offers but in real all are just a cheap attempt to wash our wallets.

Bitcointalk users are pretty much safer than some new investors because forum scam busters are tirelessly working to keep everyone safer from getting scammed. Personally i wanna give thanks to every single member of this community who are doing great job by protecting many peoples from scammers. They deserve our respects and we should encourage them to keep continuing contribution for this forum. Undoubtedly they are real assets of our community.

So if you ever find similar scam exchanges again, you can post on that thread. Good catch and don't fall for this trick.
