Nobody missed the glory days because it was in the presence of those who knew about it then but they didn't have the drive to invest then. As we are now, some other coins that is not bitcoin would leave their growing and cheap stage in the next five your. Then , they could run into hundreds while still under a dollar now. There are more known tv shows/movies where bitcoin showed up just like in Deadpool by Marvel, you cannot see it with a first glance but looking to it in more detailed way you'll be smiling when you see the bitcoin logo in the background of the bar, and it's safe to assume that the bar basically accepts bitcoin payment. Not only bitcoin but also cryptocurrency as a whole has been mentioned in a lot of shows and even movies now. And I think it's good since it can inform people about bitcoin and crypto. Never heard of the show Billions and BTC and crypto being mentioned in TV shows and movies and is nothing new. Mr.Robot, Dope etc are just some of the shows and movies where it has been mentioned before.

I am fond of movies especially when it is really a good one, but here is one thing that I noticed in a movie when they are including bitcoin or some kind of cryptography. It always depict the bad, every time I see bitcoin in a movie it is always used in some kind of criminal actions like buying illegal stuffs on deep web, form of terrorist ransom and the worst I've seen is that it is even used to scam people which will probably impact to people's mind that bitcoin is made for it.

Its good to be optimistic but lets go to the realistic thing and we all know that everything would takes time for it to be recognized or adopted but there are people who do really have that much positive outlook into things

Burned! Bitcoin isn't only backed by a dollar but backed with value. Ther are some bitcoin enthusiasts that sell bitcoin in exchange for a real estate asset. It was really do fascinating that even before have soar high, it has already been publicized through television way back 2012 wherein it's price is too far away beyond from the current price it have right now. Who would have thought that as time passes by, Bitcoin started its price as base of $33 would grow into thousand of dollars at this time. Because all of us started from newbies with hesitations at first.
I don't think we all started liking bitcoin or crypto at the very first time we heard it.
For sure, most of us had hesitation how it works, or does it really work or any of that sort.
Education is the key to address the ignorance of most noncrypto users who up until now have negative perception on crypto.

I've seen bitcoin and cryptocurrency has a lot of exposure in movies these days I think it is a good help when it comes to mass adoption and influencing cryptocurrency to many countries.

You could also try Crypto (film) for some Crime/Drama genre or Bitcoin Heist. To be honest, I think cryptocurrency movies have a great story most of the movies that I watch are really great.

I like to watch bitcoin documentaries as well, because movies are somehow exaggerated, but documentaries possess more realistic idea of what the status of bitcoin is. For example, bitcoin documentary in a particular country, how they cope up with it, what is its status in terms of government tolerance. And also, how people handle bitcoins as if it has an effect to fiat usage.

Though, bitcoin in movies is also interesting, especially if they will look at the brighter side of its characteristics, and not always showing silkroad and its bad history.

Actually this show Billions is a great show, it shows how big players manipulations, and how they sacrifice innocent for their own games. This is good and I believe it is just a function of time and the whole world will have no other option than coming to the understanding that Bitcoin and the crypto space has come to stay while helping to change the future. One thing about good innovations is that, it can't be suppressed for a long time and the time for Bitcoin and the crypto space to be heard and massively used is just close by. This is really good, although they are not the first but it is wonderful knowing that the attention is growing rapidly.

Surprisingly, bitcoin was mentioned on TV Shows all over the world. Here in the Philippines, bitcoin and cryptocurrency were also have been mentioned. Still, it turns out bitcoin and crypto are bad in the eyes of the people that they are reporting that bitcoin is a scheme to scam people to invest their money, and scammers are using famous people for attracting more investors just to scam them. It is disappointing that bitcoin is troublesome in some people's points of view that they can't accept bitcoin and crypto as a currency due to illegal activities like scams.

The funniest mention of Bitcoins on any TV show would be the one in the Big Bang Theory

They actually summarized problems of some people , they used to have Bitcoins back in 2009-2010 , then unfortunately did not know how high it would go . They forgot the wallet , where it is , where they had put the Bitcoins and searched every single computer for the Bitcoins.

They would have been millionaires but they did not care for the Bitcoins back then .

Commercialization through TV shows is very effective, humans tend to watch more of them rather than read an article about cryptocurrencies and other things . Since ages it have proven to be effective in selling even the products which are not efficient , effective or even safe.

I do think people watching it would actually search for Bitcoins and then stumble on the forum.

This statement actually supports the crypto and also insults the Dollar at the same time which is pretty amazing. I have found that many a times on the television crypto gets related with the darknet which defames the crypto as people think that crypto is always used for illicit activities and if they invest in it then they will also become the ones who helps the criminals in laundering the money, but guess what... The US dollar is also amongst the most widely used currency for the purposes of laundering and illicit activities.
