Woww, never knew bitcoin had some exposure on national televisions those days. And I am guessing you did not trust the system enough to buy enough to hold. I heard about cryptocurrencies in 2014 but did not give it much attention till 2018. I guess I missed the glory days already

Apart from the TV, I have been hearing about bitcoin from even teenagers this year. The population of bitcoin user is increasing. I was surprised such teenagers also called the etheruem coin too.

Nobody missed the glory days because it was in the presence of those who knew about it then but they didn't have the drive to invest then. As we are now, some other coins that is not bitcoin would leave their growing and cheap stage in the next five your. Then , they could run into hundreds while still under a dollar now. Is about the mind to believe in cryptocurrency.

There are more known tv shows/movies where bitcoin showed up just like in Deadpool by Marvel, you cannot see it with a first glance but looking to it in more detailed way you'll be smiling when you see the bitcoin logo in the background of the bar, and it's safe to assume that the bar basically accepts bitcoin payment. I guess small things like this could impact largely to the community, it is really appreciating when you see a thing that you've been in for a long time in television, that hits us very good.

Well said mate, its good you found out that news. It was really great reading and watching TV shows related to cryptocurrency, which makes it more popular over the world.

Not only bitcoin but also cryptocurrency as a whole has been mentioned in a lot of shows and even movies now. And I think it's good since it can inform people about bitcoin and crypto. This is like a simple promotion or advertisement for bitcoin although not all shows or movie that is mentioning bitcoin and crypto is always positive.

But with this, it can really gain attention from the viewers of a certain show. Since bitcoin is still at the phase of mass recognition, I hope more positive insights about bitcoin will be mentioned on TV shows. We tend to see a lot of negative sides of bitcoin or crypto on TV but there's also way more positive aspects it can bring us.

Just like what happened in that TV show, the lack of understanding or the view with what currencies are is the reason why people take Bitcoin negatively at first. Definitely a win! We're so used to bitcoin being mentioned as something used illegally. This episode is once in a blue moon, I hope more of this in the future. I guess the writer is into bitcoin? or is he/she is just fully aware of what bitcoin is? but still, that single simple question can make others think twice too! Aheks.

Never heard of the show Billions and BTC and crypto being mentioned in TV shows and movies and is nothing new. Mr.Robot, Dope etc are just some of the shows and movies where it has been mentioned before.

Never observed this though I have watched the Deadpool movies multiple times. I don't think something barely noticeable would create any impact in this case whatsoever.

Bitcoin is getting more exposure in the mainstream and as expected, there will be more of it soon. Although, I haven't heard of the show but as long as it's getting an airtime and even for a split seconds, it's already a contribution to bitcoin.

Well, that already shows acceptance and promotion of bitcoins to the public. It only signifies that little by little people are starting to embrace the crypto world and they begin to realize that bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies will be the future for any form of transaction and trading. Mentioned on TV should be the most important thing to me.right now than the said question raised by the anchor of that show. They are always in attack when it come to Bitcoin as the currency of the people, we're okay with this online money which is not backed by anything. Hope their shit papers are backed by something which is of great importance to mankind? I am fond of movies especially when it is really a good one, but here is one thing that I noticed in a movie when they are including bitcoin or some kind of cryptography. It always depict the bad, every time I see bitcoin in a movie it is always used in some kind of criminal actions like buying illegal stuffs on deep web, form of terrorist ransom and the worst I've seen is that it is even used to scam people which will probably impact to people's mind that bitcoin is made for it.
