It all depends on the plan of those who have lots of money. The market capitalization of the crypto market is quite small, and pushing up the price of bitcoin will also be an easy one.
What matters is the recognition of people around the world. If the central bank in China can do that, then surely crypto will be a huge market in the future.

It's still all talks but no concrete plans to use Cryptocurrency, by the majority of the country, nothing changes here in our country but people now are realizing it's a good alternative, in the future I'm not expecting another pandemic but something similar could happen and Cryptocurrency will be a big help then.

Staying at home made a lot of people curious and search what cryptocurrencies are. That made a lot of google searches about bitcoin and its respective cryptocurrencies. The halving actually made everyone wanting to have bitcoin as it approaches before, speculations were increased why it shouldn't be missed by anyone who's interested to it. In the opinion of others, deserved or not, cryptocurrencies will get the attention and awareness that it should have because year after year, it's becoming known and governments and financial institutions are getting involved.

At this point in time, I believe many people have gotten more knowledge about the crypto space and so on, while some will likely go for trading some might resort to investing in IEO and so on, it all depends on what the person wants and how to go about it. In addition to the pandemic, sanctions are imposed in the world and this harms the economies of many countries. Cryptocurrencies are able to circumvent sanctions and enable many countries to develop further and solve a number of current problems. I believe that interesting events await us in 2021 and the crypto market will show a new and better result.

I can't feel that pandemic created a massive awareness of cryptocurrency. But I feel that cryptocurrency is not affected, compared to the other business that already been closed due to the pandemic.

But this year, the whole crypto market has good movements than the last year. We can see the bitcoin price can increase up to $10, and now, the price can back to the $11k level. Sooner or later, we will see bitcoin price will have the time to break $12k. Even the pandemic still with us, if the crypto can have a good signal to increase high, we can survive and make money again. The next year will be a good year for the crypto to come back and give a big profit to us like in 2017.
